Would it be too good to be true? Would it be too flimsy as a few reviews have said? As its a German brand, I was on the optimistic side of pessimistic that the case would be okay and Im pleased to say that it more than exceeded my expectations. The case is light but durable, come case (flights/ planes and taxis) and have had no issues with the case at all. I do use my own lock and there are a few minor scratches but thats to be expected with a colour pact but still a decent depth to avoid any overpacking issues, something which can cause cases to break anyhow. Ive travelled with the case quite a few times (planes/ trains and automobiles) and am pleased with how easy it was to use. A few people have commented on the lock but I use my own and there are a few scratches but thats to be expected with a colour like this. For £70, this case is good value! Six months later, and the case is still working well. It is however getting stuck on small gaps in pavements etc. This could well be my fault because I do carry the case on and off trains a lot and so all that landing on the pavement could be causing the issue. Id still happily recommend this case.

Ich habe 3 Koffer in 3 verschiedenen Farben gekauft. Die Farben sind klasse, Koffer innen sind geteilt, was ich prima finde und richtig nicht viel nach Plastik was oft bei billig Ware die sache ist. Einzige Macke ist die Folie die die Schale überzieht, wobei von Farbe zu Farbe Unterschied gab. 1 Koffer deshalb getauscht weil die Resten überall zu sehen waren egal wie man es versucht hat es tu entfernen. Bei den anderen war es besser.

Unsere Tochter ist begeistert. Koffer ist schön, stabil und leicht. Auf den Rollen lässt er sich sehr leicht von A nach B transportieren.

Der Koffer wurde für einen Wochenendtrip gekauft und hat unsere Erwartungen vollauf erfüllt! Gut verarbeitet und Preis ist auch ok! Klare Kaufempfehlung

Choisie pour sa couleur originale et la marque allemande. Elle a tenu sur trois voyages et une vingtaine de vols. Je la pensais solide mais me suis aperçu que cest une simple bande de tissu qui assure la tenue de la partie opposée a la fermeture. Elle a finalement rendu lâme et git quelque part en Amérique du Sud.

Bought this suitcase very happy. On holiday and the combination lock will not open. It is jammed although putting in the right number. What do you do? Have tried to contact the manufacturer but it is Saturday. Stuck abroad without your things. Had to break the lock. I had only bought this 2 months ago - can it be returned ?

The lock failed after 2 or 3 goes of locking the suitcase - I couldn’t open case it needed a screwdriver to force it open. Then the retractable handle broke - the screw holding 2 parts together pulled through its screw hole. Not good value for money.

Bought to replace a much loved but worn out Hauptstadtkoffer case that my son used for many years. It’s a great case, strong, big enough, and wheels well. Will buy another for myself.
