Alien RPG - Colonial Marines Operations Manual

I love the book and it was extremely well made. What a shame that all of my books from, Amazon these days show up damage due to poor packaging or less than careful shipping.

Free league never misses and this book is a must for anyone interested in campaign play. So much content for a GM to work with!

This is an excellent game. It has a great presentation, and the xenomorphs are scary as hell. The issue I have with it is that characters just die too often. character death is something that happens but if your character dies in the first or 2nd session, whats the point. On the gm side, its worst because you dont get to finish telling your story. I want to challenge my players, not demoralize them.

Love the details and these RPG books really capture and fill in loose information from the movies. I was worried about duplicate information being printed from the RPG main sourcebook. It is not. Arrived in pristine condition

Overall, this book is a much needed add to the Alien RPG. Setting up a scenario like the movie Aliens, while possible in the vanilla game, gets a bit boring as the Colonial Marines very quickly become carbon copies of each other. With this book, theres a number of new options, weapons, and scenarios to help keep the game fresh beyond the first couple sessions. If youre planning to run a Colonial Marines campaign, or just want to allow multiple people to play as marines, this is a must have. My only complaint (hence the -1 star) is that they could have gotten a little more creative with adding some new talents. They only add 3 to the core game, so I ended up still having to homebrew another 15 or so to keep the character nice and diverse.

Excellent book! certainly a great addition to one of the best written RPGs in the past decade! Amazing art, excellent lore and a brilliant campaign. Very true to the movies. I highly recommend this book for those looking to run or play a good Alien RPG. Simply Amazing. Arrived on time and in excellent condition.

Shipping: Was fast and easy. No damage found on book or packaging itself. Book itself: Book is extremely well made and of ultra-high quality. With plenty of illustrations and easy to read language. The book also comes with a permanent bookmark which is a big plus for me. Not many gaming books do this, this is a nice touch. Book has a lot of history fluff in it. I find this a plus as well as being a gamemaster, this provides a lot of lore you can use in a campaign. The book is divided into two main sections. One for players and one for the GM. The book was designed well, for the player section is first and the GMs is last. Allowing both types of players to find the information they may need, fast. Conclusion: I give this product and its seller top marks and highly recommend the book if playing in this genre.

I love the sheer volume of content available here, theres almost as much new lore here as there is in the main Alien RPG book. Pretty much everything you could want to know about the setting as it relates to the Colonial Marines is in here. And as an additional miracle, unlike most books Ive ordered from Amazon lately this one arrived undamaged!

Beautiful book with some interesting background, but a lot of empty space. Good if youre into the Alien universe or want to know more than the movies provided.
