Aluminum Golf Club Attachment Compatible with Oculus Quest 2 and Rift S, VR Golf Club Handle Accessory with Realistic Grip Handle, Locking System Adapter for Golf+, Walkabout Mini Golf

I have tried many of these golf club attachments and this is the first one where I could leave the third party cover/hand strap on and still fit it into the club. The fit is extremely tight and the only way to fully secure it is with the velcro as it does not tighten well enough with the rubber hand strap attachment that fits over the controller. But it does work and is secure so you can play your golf games without taking off the cover. Otherwise this is very similar to other clubs. It is one size and does NOT extend, but for me short is what I need as my ceiling is too low to extend the club. This is the first golf club handle that I can fully get behind and absolutely recommend!!!

This golf club attachment is even better than I had hoped for in a VR accessory. The club is actually shorter than I thought it would be but thats what makes it work so well. Its fun and easy to use, highly recommend!

This wasnt exactly what I was expecting. I assumed it would be full length, where the controller would basically be at floor level. But Im glad it isnt -- that would actually be nearly impossible to use accurately without damaging your controller. Rather, this device *feels* like youre holding a full length golf club and is appropriately weighted to do so. The controller is held in place by three different mechanisms -- its squeezed with foam, its strap is tied to the club, and then you strap it in on both sides. Im not sure how vigorously people are playing VR golf, but I have no concerns about my controller coming loose. I used this device with Walkabout Mini Golf, which Ive really enjoyed playing with just a normal controller. The attachment really gave the game an extra dimension of reality, and that was even before I found the setting within the game that lets you adjust the angle of the club to match the attachment. Prior to that, it felt like the club was offset significantly. After adjusting the setting, it felt completely natural. I had two concerns about this product. First, I was worried that it would be hard to attach and remove the controller for switching between golf and non-golf games. While the three attachment mechanisms means you need to unstrap, untie, and unlock each time, its a relatively easy process. My second concern was that I would need to reach down to the end of the club and fumble around for the buttons on the controller. At least with Walkabout, that wasnt too bothersome. Since the club is fairly short, I could find the bottom of it and push the trigger to move to where my ball was without much challenge. Overall, Im super happy with this product.

I have three different Golf Clubs for my Quest 2: an entry level one, the one being reviewed here made out of aluminum (in the middle of the group photo), and an aluminum one with weights. Of the three, this one is a nice balance of price and feel. This accessory has multiple ways to hold your precious controller in place: two Velcro straps; a method to feed the controller strap through the club mount to tie it off, and a great twist-to-tighten compression sleeve. Talk about belt, suspenders and another belt! The compression sleeve has a specific way to have your controller oriented, and this is called out on the sleeve. The grip feels like a golf club, and the combined weight of the accessory and the Quest 2 controller is 37g (1.3 ounces). For reference, the average golf clubs weight ranges from 300-450g. Thats not an exact comparison, because feel has more to do with the torque you feel when swinging a club, and the speed of the swing have more to do with feel than the weight of the club does, but this combo feels decent when you swing. This is a well-made, very secure accessory that makes playing games like Golf+ much more fun, and more realistic. Recommended.

Received this today and can confirm that its very much like a real golf club. The weight, handle grip and feel are probably the best you can get without modifying a real club. On that note it probably wont work as well as this because the mount for this places the controller in the center. If you strapped your controller onto a stick its going to be offcenter and youll be putting like Shaq at the Freethrow line. Dont be Shaq. Great stuff here for any VR golfing.

The grip on the handle is a real golf grip and feels good in the hand. more importantly, the way the controller is attached ensures theres no way it can fly off, allowing for wild and crazy swings. (You know thats you! :P ) The whole club is metal, making it very very sturdy and safe. A good deal. :) P.S. - If your controller has grippers on it, see the review where someone modified the handle to be able to use with grippers. :)

This thing is awesome. It is made from aluminum vs plastic and has a real golf grip. It has more weight to it than the plastic types. The machining quality is very good. You can see it in the attention to detail on this. You can also see the insert for the controller is rubber and they include two velcro straps to secure it from flying off. Awesome attachment to enhance your gaming experience. Recommend.

I got excited for VR and got this. I love mini golf, and saw VR had it, and this was a bonus find. I was curious to see if this would work to make the VR experience feel even better. And it actually works pretty well Setting it up wasnt too difficult. Had a little figuring, but the video on the product page does help a lot. And its not hard to do. They make it simple with the velcro. Just dont tie a knot you cant get out easily with the controller cord. The feel is pretty comfortable for me Im very happy to have this : )

I love this product. But the customer service is even better. I had intended to get the weighted version and made a mistake. Rather than having to do a return they worked with me to get me a weight kit. Above and beyond.

There are 3 different ways to secure your handset in this club. Each backs each other up which makes me feel comfortable using it with my equipment. The rubber handle is sturdy and feels as good as a real golf club. Devices like this really make a difference when used with Golf +. Overall, a great product.
