09-06-2025This tape was perfect for the issue I had with my dryer vent. It had been ages since the vent was cleaned out. Im aware that damp lint can build up in dryer vent. Over the years it becomes like a crust on the inside of the vent. Unfortunately my vent is in back of the washer. We had to switch the positions of the appliances because of the way the front loading doors opened. As I checked the vent I saw that it had caps on the end of the vent tube. Those caps can be taken off, but they needed to be put back on after I cleaned out the vent tube. The metal tape was the perfect answer. I placed the cap back on the tube and applied the tape accordingly. It all works like a dream, and I saved myself the cost of an appliance technician. I would have tried duck or gorilla tape, but heat builds up in the vent, and I didnt want to have an issue with the caps coming off because the tape couldnt take the heat. Live and learn

09-06-2025First roll sent was smashed beyond use. Sent in thin envelope. Replacement was OK after being sent in a padded envelope. The if tape is fine. Good adhesion if surface is cleaned properly. Good workability. Ask if they will send in a box or at minimum a padded envelope. Otherwise you are taking a risk and may have the hassle and wait time for a replacement to be sent out. Id probably buy elsewhere if I need it again.
