Greater than one weekWhat stood out first to me was the color of the bristles. Remember when recycled school paper was new in the late 80s and early 90s? It was a dingy gray color, the same as the bristles on these dish brushes. Who cares what color the bristles really are though? Any person washing dishes wants to know how effective the bristles are! These bristles are stiff, very stiff. For me, I love that. I feel it does a great job and getting stuff off dirty dishes. My daughter, on the other hand, hates stiff bristles and prefers more flexible bristles, which these are not. The scraper that is built in is excellent. I used it last night to scrape some melted mozzarella cheese off of some bowls. The handles of these dish brushes dont feel awkward like the last dish bush I purchased off Amazon -

Greater than one weekBristles start off as SUPER stiff, but they can get worked in after about a week of heavy washing. They hold up after that for many months as long as you dont overexert and go after stuff that should be handed by steel wool or a power sander. :)

> 3 dayThese are great. I’ve ordered twice. The only drawback is that they seems to hold mildew and get that yucky black stuff at the bottom of the bristles pretty easily. You have to make sure to rinse very well and leave them to dry with the bristles facing downward.

Greater than one week4-Stars: Good value for the money, this pair of brushes will stand up to tough use and can be hung up to dry. While I intended to use them as kitchen dish scrubbers, they were just a bit too stiff and would have scratched my non-stick surfaces (so I took off a star). Instead, Ill use them to scrub my hard kitchen and bath surfaces, along with my garden buckets and tools. They work well and scrub off the tough dirt, leaving a nice shiny clean on hard surfaces afterwards.

07-06-2025The bristles are very stiff which is fine if your goal is to clean off the stuck and heavy stuff off your dishes and let the dishwasher finish the job. But if you wash everything by hand because you dont have a dishwasher or if you have expensive pots, pans or cutlery you would rather wash manually, then I dont think this brush is ideal for this use. Because the bristles are so stiff or due to their composition, dish soap doesnt readily cling to the brush so more soap is required to do the job. Also it doesnt get as sudsy or get into corners or nooks & crannies as well as a softer brush would. It kind of like if you used this inside a bottle or coffee mug to clean it versus a bottle brush which has softer bristles, get it corners better and gets more sudsy. I prefer the OXO brush I use to have. The bristles arent as stiff but they cover a larger surface area on the brush, as well as a denser concentration of them and does a better job washing by hand. Update 4/26/2021 - I quit using these brushes in the kitchen and have gone back to a much better OXO brush. It is tedious enough to wash by hand as it is without dealing with these inferior brushes. I may reserve them for the tile grout in the bathroom and see how they perform. I dropped a star off the rating because this brush aside from having stiff bristles does not perform as expected.

> 3 dayMy maid came in the other week with these cool-shaped scrub brushes. Now I see them everywhere! But, you can tell the cheapies right away - most have splayed bristles. These got great reviews overall on Amazon. Im pretty happy with mine. I use them mainly for scrubbing toilet bowls - they do a nice job.

Greater than one weekThis is, in a word, fine. I wish it had a line of harder scrubbing bristles at the front and that it was a little smaller brush - its a little hard to get into smaller pots and pans adequately with it. However its nice to get 2 in the pack - I just throw one in the dishwasher and have one buy the sink, so they get regularly cleaned.
