These are heavy-duty and durable for household trash. The drawstring ties attached are ALWAYS better than any that have the tie made into the bag that you have to wrestle to tie. RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This is my first box of these bags. It took all my strength to pull the first bag from the box. As you pull on the bag, it does not want to come out. I had to tear the box a little to relieve the tightness from the box. As I worked it loose it pulled the second bag out with the first. Once I got it out I snapped it like you do to open the bag before putting it in the can. It would not snap open. I had to run my hands down inside the bag to get it to expand. After all this, it does appear sturdy and fit my kitchen can very well.

Im a big fan of Amazon products, but this is one I wont buy again because of the effort involved in opening the bag. I suspect that in the manufacturing process quilting presses them together tightly, making them difficult to open and stuck together. Even shaking the bag open requires extra effort. In the future Ill buy unpressed kitchen trash bags with flaps that shake open easily.
