Amazon Basics Kids Clear Bubble Umbrella

This umbrella is a nice size and made of lightweight materials - good for kids. It opens and closes easily, and it does not pinch little fingers. The inner spokes are made of plastic. They seem to be strong and have good flex. The shape of the umbrella is more domed than other kids umbrellas, which tend to be flat. This size works for age 10 and under, and maybe even for an older child or small-sized adult, if necessary. I would love to see this umbrella offered in more colors & patterns. (Currently only the red/pink/green dots, fall leaves, and a plain clear one available)

I ordered this umbrella for my son, who is only 4. I normally use my umbrella to protect him when its raining, but he has been asking me for his own umbrella for a while. This is the perfect size for him, and its easy to hold. Its also easy to open and close. But for the price, I would expect it to be sturdier. I would not recommend using this umbrella on a windy day. As long as you have light rain and no wind, it is fine. But Im not sure how long it will last. I dont think its worth the current price of almost $20.

I ordered this umbrella for my 7 year old daughter. Its adorable and easy for her to open and close on her own. She wanted to have an umbrella to take to school on rainy days and this works great. The design is cute and simple. Shes happy with this umbrella and Im happy with the quality and ease of use.

The top came right apart the first time it was used. Also had several small tears in the plastic.

Update: my daughter got to use this MAYBE 5 times before the umbrella ripped off of the pole, pictured. Super bummed. I would recommend ordering something a little bit higher quality so that it can hopefully make it through an entire season. I ordered this for my 3 year old and its just the perfect size for her! It feels sturdy enough that Im hoping it will survive her playing with it during every rainstorm where she can convince someone to take her outside! The dots are just adorable and I love that its clear so she can still see where shes going if she holds it low while walking. There isnt a button to push to pop it up, you have to manually put it up and take it down, which is probably good so she doesnt pop it up and poke herself in the eye or something like she could with the spring loaded ones. No complaints so far!

The whole plastic umbrella is very light and the kids love it, but the umbrella is too small and the rain always wets the clothes.

It feels cheap but its also not expensive and great for kids who lose or break the umbrellas anyways. The best features are the shape and that its see-through. Because the shape, a kid can hold it without poking anyones eyes and also be close by to a parent. And because its see-through, they are more aware of their surroundings, which is usually a problem while holding an umbrella.

Its a cute umbrella but I dont see it lasting long. The prongs that hold it open are not metal but some type of plastic and the winds in Pennsylvania can get really disrespectful. But for the light rain we are currently having it has worked like an umbrella should.

I ordered this umbrella for my 8-year-old and she loves it. We get a lot of rain here and like to do a lot of outdoor activities, so it’s nice to have extra umbrellas in my truck for those surprise rain showers. This one does a great job of keeping her dry. It isn’t too flimsy and is rather sturdy.
