> 3 dayQuality materials, but after using other AmazonBasics bags, I was expecting more internal structure and device protection. Anything in the back pocket gets mashed against the metal arms of the extending handle, not great. A good bag, but it just feels, well, cheap. Again, I have a few other styles of AmazonBasics bags, particularly laptop messenger bags, and they offer great device support and functional layout, but this bag just doesnt quite make the cut. Your laptop sits sort of dead center, which is a great thing for protection, but the bottom is too hard, doesnt protect from bumps very well. Once laptop is in place, the other pouches just feel like you cant put anything in them, like there is not enough room or that theyll get your laptop. Like I say, I dont want to give a low rating because I dont like this bag, but, I dont like this bag. Its solid and will serve me well in other ways, but I wont be putting my laptop in it.

> 3 dayI had been using Samsonite rolling laptop cases for a number of years, but inevitably they always suffered problems with their zippers, making it very difficult (if not impossible) to close the case. Since I was on a budget and didnt want to spend upwards of $100 on a new case, I decided to give this particular bag a try. And, for the most part, after a month of usage, I really like it... though there are some minor adjustments Id like to see in future versions of this product. First, the details: I travel with a thinner Hewlett-Packard laptop, anywhere from one to four external hard drives, and all the cables and plugs needed for these devices. My previous case allowed me to travel with a second laptop (which Ive since retired from active duty) and its power supply - so the Samsonite case, already fairly bulky, tended to get very heavy, very quickly. I like the lightweight feel to this case - it doesnt feel cheaply made, and it fits everything I need with a little room to spare! It is much easier to maneuver than the Samsonite case was - its not as awkward when making turns. So far, Ive had no problem with the wheels - something another reviewer mentioned - and I give this case daily use across parking lots. There are only two things I would change about this case. First, Id make the partition inside go completely to the bottom of the case, so things cant shift from one side to the other. Often, I find cables have slid through the opening at the bottom into the portion of the bag I keep my hard drives in. And, Im not terribly crazy that you have to loop the carrying handles through the retractable handle when you want to seal up the case to travel. However, these are minor points, and would not keep me from buying this bag again. Its too early for me to tell whether this case will stand up to all of the abuse that the Samsonite cases did - I went through a case every three years - but even if this particular case only lasts me 12 to 18 months, it still will have essentially paid for itself. Overall, Im very satisfied with this item, and while it might not be particularly designed for older, more bulky laptops, it serves my purposes perfectly.

Picky shopper.
> 3 dayInexpensive carryon. Designed well. I bought the 2 year protection plan to cover any damages that could happen and still it is the most affordable bag for your buck. Insurance is only seven dollars.

19-11-2024I have been searching for a rolling laptop computer bag for work travel purposes. The value on this bag cant be beat- the storage capacity is great, it has a padded section for a laptop or tablet, a section for pens, cards, and other work related items in the front, and plenty of space for additional items. This bag was easy to roll in the airport and fit effortlessly under the seat in front of me on the plane. This is going to be my go-to carry on from now on- previously Id been using a backpack style laptop computer bag, which naturally I would stuff full when traveling, and it caused me a lot of shoulder pain. This bag was far more organized, less bulky, and more ergonomic. The price cant be beat- Im very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this item.

> 3 dayI use this daily to from the office and for frequent business travel. Good in overhead bins or under seat. This is my third one in about 6 years but dont let that scare you off. I beat them to death. I run it up/down stairs, curbs, doorways, across rough surfaces, everywhere! Where I wear them out is the back bottom edge between the wheels from scraping all of the above. It rolls great. I load the front with pencils, business cards, emptied pocket contents for TSA. The second compartment has two parts, one for full-size Dell laptop and a second for mouse, power cord, iPad, etc. The a fairly generous third pocket for paperwork. This is a good quality roller, obviously, I keep buying them.

> 3 dayFirst I ordered Amazon Basics rolling laptop case and I returned it because of its shape and small size. This one has a very nice shape and a 15 laptop fits very nice. You can fit a larger laptop as well. The case rolls very nice and you can fit a lot of stuff in it. There are a couple of things I dont like about it but that doesnt affect the overall score of 5 stars. I wish there was a better way to secure the laptop so that nobody could easily take it from the bag. Also, I wish that zipper pulls had holes in them so you can put a lock. That way when you sleep on the plane nobody can go through your stuff. I used to have a laptop bag that I carried on shoulder and it was getting heavy when I load it with laptop, cell phones, chargers, and other equipment. This is much better. I am very happy with this case.

Greater than one weekThe bag was affordable and the storage space and compartments are great. The laptop area has padding to secure the laptop and keep away from other items in the briefcase. The handle doesnt seem to be too sturdy but Ive had the briefcase for about a month and is holding up well. I will continue to handle it with care. I work remotely two days out of the week so the bag is great to load files, laptops, and office supplies I carry back and forth every day.
