Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Leather Case, Onyx Black - fits all Paperwhite generations prior to 2018 (Will not fit All-new Paperwhite 10th generation)

I used my first one so much that I needed to order another kindle cover because it was falling apart. I used it so much.

I have worn out two other covers from different vendors. I received this cover from my wife for Valentines Day and it is the best one Ive used by far. It is very high quality and the magnetic closure works very well. Nicely textured leather is easy to hold and this cover is a pleasure to use.

I bought this case to replace my old case that had unfortunately been destroyed by some solvent that got spilled. The case is comfortable and adds nice protection to the kindle. The leather slowly will get softer with use and felt very nice after years of use. The only downside to the case is the price is pretty high for a case but is well worth it for the protection it provides, especially compared to some of the other options as the aftermarket products.

I wanted this Kindle cover so bad. I received my first one and it was so big, my kindle fell out when turned over. I figured I would exchange for another and the problem would be solved. No such luck - same thing happened. It doesnt fit the kindle and is not safe. So disappointed

I am pleased with the kindle cover. I would have liked it to have a little area where you could slip a card if needed as my old one did.

I needed to change my kindle cover after many years of use. I did try to buy one that was cheaper but it was rubbish . So I invested What I considered a reasonably large amount of money in the kindle cover and I must say I am delighted. Elegant robust well finished Inside and out, easy to clean and it works. What more can one ask. But for the price, I hope it stays in good working order for a few years. Especially as getting decent kindle covers for kindles prior to 2018 is like looking for hens teeth!

Honestly, if youve got the money (or the Amazon points), you cant go wrong with this Amazon leather cover for any of the previous kindle models. I got one in dark blue when I bought a first-gen paperwhite in 2014, and it is still in great shape after being taken on many trips and packed in many carry-on bags. The hinge in particular shows very little wear despite its travels. We just got a second older-model kindle, so my husband and I could each read a kindle book at the same time, and I bought a cheaper case to go with it. Well, I ended up returning that case the day after it came and ordered another of these original leather covers instead. It feels nice in your hands and the kindle fits perfectly in it. The little metal bar at the closure is much more solid than the stick-out plastic tab that was on the other case, and I like that it sits flush with the rest of the case, so it cant snag on things. The other thing I really like is that the bumper that surrounds the kindle is made of a softer rubbery material with a little give to it, versus the hard plastic shell of the cheaper case. Just makes it feel more secure and protective. I expect this new kindle and case will hold up just as well as the first one. So, yeah, pay a little more and be satisfied for a longer time. That would be my recommendation. The persimmon color is very pretty as well.
