> 3 dayI rarely post product reviews....but I promised myself that if this pack held up on my trip then I would have to post about it. So here I am. Just purchased and used this pack for a one-month trip to Australia/NZ in Feb. I was definitely skeptical of the durability because the price was so great....but now that Im back from my trip I can confidently state that this is an incredible value and I can easily give this a 5-star rating!! SPACE: If you are like me, you want to know first and foremost what can it fit. Well, I packed this thing to the rim with all of my electronics including a Mavic Drone, 15 Mac Laptop, iPad Pro 12.9 in a case with a Apple Pencil, Nikon 360 Cam, Go Pro Hero 5, 2 iPhones, Drone Controller, 2 Drone Batteries, 2 Drone Chargers, 2 extra Go Pro Batteries & Charger, 2 extra 360 Cam Batteries and Charger, 4 Selfie Sticks, 1 Andoer Pistol Grip Cam Mount, several Go Pro accessories including chest mount, helmet mounts, dash mount, charging cables for ALL of the items listed above including my laptop adaptor, a 3 x 7 x 12 foam/zipper case to protect some of the small gear, some extra memory cards and finally a very solid, 6lb (24) Velbon W-Lift Tripod strapped to the outside. TOTAL WEIGHT: I weighed this once before I left and I believe I was just under 30lbs. PROTECTION: With a drone packed in here, I was definitely concerned about the pack holding up. Well, I can tell you the padded walls did their job. They are extremely sturdy and because they are velcro I was able to customize them to fit perfectly around the drone and other gear. Note: The pack was definitely squished with a lot of other gear. But I took care not to place it under 50lb+ suitcases. Again, Im not a product tester and I wasnt looking to TEST the capability. DURABILITY: Not one single rip, tear or even the sound of a tear occurred. And again, I was skeptical so I was definitely expecting something to give out. I did not baby this thing...as I was in rain (sometimes heavy), muddy jungle trails, sandy beaches, direct sun, you name it. It did get some mud on it...but wiped away once it dried and youd never even know it had touched mud. I was worried about the high temps (85-95F + high humidy) especially in the direct sun, but...every time I opened this bag...my gear felt cool. So, an unexpected surprise. Note: I did NOT use the rain cover for this thing and water never leaked in.....however I would definitely utilize it if you know rain is coming. The rain surprised me a few times....and I stressed out when the heavy rains hit us....but I was pleasantly surprised that everything inside stayed dry when I got back to my car. Note: I did not have this in heavy rain for more than about 10-15 minutes at a time. Another side note: I carried this many different ways, I used the handle up top, I used one strap over my shoulder, and other times I used the full two straps and the buckle around my torso. So, all of the main components were definitely put to the test. Again, Im still rather impressed that nothing ripped. USAGE: I used this first and foremost as a carry-on. 6 total flights. I transported it to every single location, every single day and yes, I did small hikes with it as well. All told I was on this adventure for the entire month of Feb...and went to over 20+ different locations including remote, sandy Islands in GBR, picturesque trails and beaches in AU/NZ, river bungee jumping, mountain luging, light tropical jungle hikes (no major ascents), full day beach trips, farm stays, big city hikes....this thing never left my side. COMFORT: I carried around all day and the only time it got uncomfortable was when I had it draped over one shoulder for long periods. The full weight of the pack on one shoulder I think was a bit too much. So, I simply put on both straps and it instantly fixed the comfort issue. Keep in mind, while I was constantly moving every single day, this was not used as a rough hiking pack for long, arduous, high-ascending hikes. It was used for everyday transportation....as we moved from location to location. I carried water in the outside pockets a few times....and of course it did meet with rocks, mud, sand, etc......but I did NOT abuse it or throw it around for obvious reasons. FINAL THOUGHTS: OK, for those wondering why I would pack so much expensive gear in such a cheap case...well, I was originally trying to purchase a more expensive Manfrotto pack from a guy on craigslist...but when too much time went by between communications, I purchased this as my backup in case the deal fell through. Once I received it and packed it up....I ended up deciding to just roll with it. I was already blowing so much money on other pieces of the trip.....so, it felt nice to finally save a little money for a change. And for the money...I just dont see how you can beat it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. This was easily the best valued purchase I made. Hopefully you have a similar experience.

> 3 dayI use this as a general purpose backpack, not for carrying cameras. It is quite sturdy and has plenty of easily accessible space in the main compartment. The laptop goes separately in its own pocket. The smaller front compartment has less space, but has plenty of pockets for keeping things neatly organized. The side pockets could have been larger. I use the tripod fasteners to carry an umbrella. Overall a very good buy for about $15.

> 3 dayThis is a great camera bag for the beginning to intermediate photographer for the price, features & durability. The bright orange interior makes it easy to find camera equipment & accessories. My only suggestions would be to reconfigure the strap setup.. they are really long, and the belt isn’t necessarily something you need to use on a daily basis, and would be better served as an option (like the interior colors are) or a removable accessory. I would also recommend a different zipper/fastening system because these zippers tend to come undone on their own if they’re left at the top of the bag if the bag is full and the internal weight distribution isn’t very balanced while you just walk around. I love how much this bag can hold, and for the price, it’s a no-brainer. You will look at every camera bag differently after owning one of these and using it every day.

> 3 dayI traveled through Europe this summer with all my camera equipment stuffed into a standard backpack. Changing lenses, batteries or filters required setting the backpack on the ground and digging through, which made photography a hassle and made my subjects (spouse and kids) extremely impatient. After we returned, I decided that I needed a more professional solution. I read tons of camera backpack reviews and watched a few dozen videos before setting on this one, and I couldnt be happier. Heres what I see as the key features that make this product stand out from other alternatives: - NONDESCRIPT APPEARANCE: Most camera backpacks scream, Im a camera backpack, making you an easy target in crowded venues. I have thousands of dollars of gear and place a premium on the security offered by this anonymity. - VERY COMFORTABLE: With adjustable wide padded shoulder straps on chest and waist, it took me seconds to find just the right comfort setting, and I can wear the backpack comfortably for hours. - SPACIOUS: Easily fits my camera body, 4 lenses, flash and accessories, several filters and hoods, external mic, tripod, batteries and battery chargers, memory cards, laptop and tablet - with room to spare. - SMART, SOLID BUILD: Padding is thick. Dividers are plentiful and easily shifted with Velcro attachments. The camera body (with just about any lens attached) easily fits in the center compartment, for quick removal and storage. The zippers move well. - RAIN COVER: The pack comes with a specially fitted rain cover that easily slides over the backpack and helps keep everything dry. Based on my research, only the higher-end camera bags come with one of these. - EXCELLENT PRICE: This backpack is a tremendous value. I couldnt find anything else that was close to this price for this feature set, size, and quality. AmazonBasics is a misnomer for this product - its anything but basic. I look forward to getting many years of use out of this well-designed, well-made backpack.

> 3 daySo as far as backpacks go specifically designed especially for tattoo kits, there are two options: spend over a hundred bucks on the only decent one available, or go with its knock off brother... Either way, they are just laptop backpacks with a couple plastic cases in it. And since there is really only one option, everyone who has this backpack knows exactly what is in it. So I decided to pursue other options, including makeup/cosmetic kits, travelling trunks, and various rolling bags, all of which neither satisfied my need for space, dividers, and easy portability......Until NOW! This backpack kicks the teeth in of anything else Ive seen! The fully customizable main compartment allows me to keep my tools, bottles, power supplies, and equipment neatly organized and protected. The front pouch is perfect for my machines, lights, and small stuff I need to keep easy access to, and the laptop pouch holds stencil paper, my kindle, a sketchbook and a laptop no problem. To top it off this bag has the most comfortable straps and back padding Ive ever experienced. A couple more pluses: The side pouches hold wallets and cellphones perfectly, the carry handle is durable and comfortable, and the discreet Amazon logo tells everyone Im just another run of the mill backpack until you open the Harley Davidson orange interior containing my tattoo equipment and the crowd....goes.....CRAZY.

> 3 dayThis is my first AmazonBasics product that Ive purchased, and I had my doubts at first. The pricing was too good to be true when compared to all the storage that the product description mentions, or so I thought. This is one of my favorite photography backpacks Ive tested out, so why the 4 star rating? It lacks in the laptop and accessories storage areas. When I load up my Canon 7D Mark II, a couple of lenses, Rode Directional Mic and flashes, then add my 15.4 laptop and its power cord along with the wireless mouse, backup HDD, and camera accessories the bag starts to feel like its too far past its intended capacity. I feel as thought I either bring everything JUST in case I need it, but then the bag feels like it may explode. Or I only take the bare minimums for my laptop, bringing the feel of the bags capacity down to a manageable feel but risk leaving behind something (like the back up HDD) that I might actually need. I would definitely recommend the bag to a friend though, it may just be my own needs that are a little over demanding. Amazon basics FTW!

Greater than one weekIm definitely getting more impressed with AmazonBasics quality. I have several AmazonBasics products and I think they are often the best value for what you are receiving. I bought this over a year ago in time for my brothers wedding .He already had a hired professional photographer but he wanted me to take some as well (as I am only an amateur, but hey -- more photos for free is never a bad thing!). If you are an hobbyist / amateur photographer with several lenses / accessories to protect, I think this is absolutely worth the price! The build quality feels very nice and I was able to travel on a plane with no problems. It also has a laptop slip which is very beneficial. The straps feel comfortable and the bag doesnt scream IM CARRYING EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!. Youll look more like a student than anything (at least thats how I looked). And to be honest, the AmazonBasics label on the front of the bag isnt going to make anyone super curious about whats inside -- which is also why you should buy this!. I personally dont use this bad every time I go out shooting -- only for big events or photoshoots that require me to bring everything. For that reason I havent used it consistently over the past year. I think for a hobbyist it is great because my need for all my equipment at once is rare. Im most often doing street photography which requires a very light setup so I never bring this bag with me in those instances. I think depending on your needs this could be the best option for you. If youre a casual photographer who needs a bag to house all your equipment for the occasional big event -- get this one!

> 3 dayThis bag is great, the biggest part of the bag let’s you customize how you want to arrange space within the bag. The front and laptop portions are smaller because of this(obviously), but we’re able to get the job done and carry my 17in laptop as well as a couple notebooks, some pencils, a pencil sharpener, a computer mouse, and the laptop charger with a little space leftover. When it comes to weight distribution this bag handles it very well, just makes sure you fasten the straps as comfortable as you can. Don’t carry the bag too long though, because like most bags after awhile you start feeling the weight on your shoulders. Even though the padding on the bags helps, I wouldn’t wear it more than an hour at a time. Lastly the main issue I have with this backpack are the side straps; they can hold your tripod well. However they’re not strong enough to keep your tripod from sliding around in place, this causes and issue where you have to put your tripod into the straps a certain way if you want it to be completely secure.

> 3 dayI gave the item 4 stars HOWEVER..... I purchased this backpack for an upcoming trip. After unpacking ans inspecting it, I spent several hours trying to configure it to hold my equipment - without success. The product is well made and otherwise I would rate it 5-stars. The item dimensions are stated as 18 x 9 x 13.2 inches. The laptop compartment easily holds a Macbook Air, an iPad and has room for adapters and cables. The front accessory compartment will hold batteries, filters and such. HOWEVER, the camera compartment dimensions are not stated. The specifications say the camera compartment will accomodate 2 DSLR bodies and 3-4 lenses plus accessories. I found the depth of the compartment to be a big factor. I carry 2 DSLR bodies: Nikon D5100 and Nikon D7100. I carry 4 lenses: Nikon 35mm; 18-200; 70-300; Sigma 15-30; Nikon SB-600 flash. What I found was that the camera compartment is 4.5 deep at the upper portion (top); 5 deep in the center; and 5.5 deep at the bottom. Three of my 4 lenses are > 5.5 long so they must be placed horizontal to the bottom of the bag. Configuring the bag this way makes it impossible (for me at least) to carry the 4 lenses, 2 bodies, the flash unit and items too big for the accessories compartment. Quite simply, I need a bbiger bag! SO...be careful to preconfigure your equipment requirements before buying this bag - I didnt!. It is a very good bag for the price, but just not right for me!

> 3 dayI got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.
