Air conditioning in my home was off and this fan saved the day. Very powerful and only a little noisy. Bought a second one after using the first. Easy assembly.

Makes noises

Its black. Its round. It has 3 settings, loud, louder, and loudest. Dont try to have a conversation next to it unless you like to repeat yourself while yelling as your hair gets all messy and you get angry. Its really good at distributing maximum poo viscosity when you just have to fart next to it. Sometimes I like to get behind it and pretend I am an AI robot sent from the future to work on his music career and sing songs about robot love. Hot nasty robot love.

In Florida, having moving air in a hot porch really makes a difference

I bought this fan as a possible dual purpose. It was simple to put together and moves a good volume of air around. First use to move air around my living room where I dont have a ceiling fan. During those months where the heat or ac doesnt kick on much, the air gets a bit stale. It does a fairly good job at that, but the noise level is rather high. Second, as a possible fan for a greenhouse / grow area. Unfortunately, it is not suited for this at all. The strength it blows is far too strong for plants unless you have a very large grow area. It has a low, medium, and high setting, but it barely drops the strength for each level. If I had to estimate, it seems to be 100% strength, 90-92% strength, 85% strength. You might be able to get away with aiming it at a wall so its blowing indirect around the room if youve already bought it and the room is mid size, but otherwise I would keep shopping.

This thing creates an extreme velocity of air. Due to its smaller nature, the volume of the fan is extreme. This might be great for drying-out an area after a flood, but this cant be used around people where conversations may ensue.

Its about twice as strong as any box fan you have. I use one at my office because theres only 1 AC that cant cool the two rooms properly. This fan is strong enough to distribute the cold air from one room to the other with no issue. I got another one just now to dry my shirts I hang dry. Its worth it. Pick one up.

Too loud

Amazing fan for sure, even the low setting is keeping the entire apartment cool! Its loud but high powered so Im fine with the noise lol

Moves some air but because the blade is small and turning fast it makes good amount of whoosh noise, about what you expect at this price point.
