AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

I was replacing an ancient I7 930 from Intel so expected a marked improvement but this chip is a blast ! I replaced the wraith cooler with a corsair H60 and it idles 33-36 decrees C in a room with ambient temp 73-75 F. I played Quake Champions for about an hour the other day and it ran to 41 and quickly settled back to 34 when finished. All well below the 90 degree threshold. memory running @ 3100 with xmp profile #1 on Asus B450 plus prime. All working smoothly. The only downside so far is having to upgrade to Win 10 but that was required to move up.

Ive always been a ryzen fan had a 2700X before this amazing cpu but I had to step down due to financial reasons and its still ryzen for me the ryzen 5 2600 non X is still brutal with 6 cores 12 threads amazing bit if kit for gamers and still fast for everyday work loads if necessary

Has worked perfect for video editing and for photography, gaming But If you want hard core gaming or editing 4k go with newer bigger, research which does Cuda. Great buy. I have 2 and a 5600X.

My first AMD and no complaints at all. Hardest part was going from all Intel to all AMD, I needed to understand motherboard differences and terminology. Purchased for a stock build (no overclocking, even used stock cooler as thermals not really an issue) to be used by a university student for that stuff, some gaming, photo editing and art creation. Excellent multi-purpose CPU.

Preso per essere il core del nuovo sistema che uso prevalentemente per la gestione delle foto, acquistato a parte un dissipatore dedicato perché non mi fidavo troppo di quello fornito insieme (più che altro per problemi di polvere) sono molto soddisfatto del risultato ottenuto in relazione al prezzo.
