Great CPU for gaming and streaming! It’s unlocked so you can over lock it and it works beautifully! Make sure you get compatible ram that will work for your motherboard and cpu!

A great mid tier Gaming or Content Creator CPU. Runs the adobe suite without issue and alongside my GTX1070 runs every game I throw at it on high-ultra high settings at 1080p. Would recommend this to anyone looking to build a pc in the $1000 range. Plan on upgrading to the Ryzen 9 later this year (which uses the same socket, so this cpu is easy to upgrade later on down the line). You cant beat ryzens price to performance.

Arrived damaged/inconvenient. I got plastic shards and thermal paste all in the fins of the cpu cooler. What a nightmare! Thanks AMD for having a unusable/unreliable product being sold.

Used ryzen master for overclocking my 2600 but realized it didnt save in bios. Im assuming you use it like a test lab then put those settings directly into the bios. Which I did. Getting 4ghz easy at 65c underload and 34c idle with stock cooler. Tried using a Corsair h60 with it but was probably faulty or not contacting properly as when installed it was hitting 85c . Ive had 4 w/ coolers on the past none did this. If looking for a w/cooler get the round block version which I think uses 4 screw bracket and can be tightened like a car wheel as the h60 amd bracket just has a clip on for Ryzen chips..... rubbish way to attach!
