> 3 dayI am not a very computer literate person, but I bought a 2600 in 2018. It is now 2021, and I couldnt upgrade to Windows 11. Turns out, that is because my processor is not supported. Looking at my hardware, turns out that it is because my 2600 was ACTUALLY a 2400. They took an inferior part and put it in the box for a superior one and charged me the full price. This is nothing more than a scam and I will be reporting it as many places as I can and will review them as poorly as I possibly can.

> 3 dayI have this paired with an EVGA GTX 1080 for gaming on dual 1440p monitors (75 Hz) and it has been a champ. It has also served me quite well for compiling on Linux. A word of caution for anyone that has bought memory using SK Hynix ICs, you probably wont ever get your memory up to 3200 MHz due to it not playing nice with Ryzens memory controller. I have a G.Skill Trident CL16 kit I cannot push past 2933 MHz, but the proc itself with my Cryorig H7 I can hit 4.1 GHz manual OC (all core). If you dont plan on doing any overclocking, I would recommend going for the 2600X due to the higher binned chip hitting better turbo overclocking that B450/X470 boards will do automatically.
