First off, I was upgrading from an AMD FX-8300, so a little old but it still did its job. I left the graphics card the same (rx 580 8gb SE) I went from 100ish FPS in games to over 200! Now surely it wasnt entirely just this CPU as I also upgraded from 16GB of DDR3 1600MHZ to 32GB of DDR4 3200 MHZ ram, and it loads up games super fast now.

Prime package no damage but cpu box damaged. Installed it and looks like works fine but still....hope wont have issues in a future.

this cpu is perfect for high end gaming on RTX grade cards. its not the best but it works well and pairs perfectly with other components around its great. super affordable when i first bought it.

upgrading from a dual core Pentium g4560 its amazing I can now play all my games and vr games without bottlenecking my gpu, the stock cooler can rev up a bit so I would recommend a after market cooler

I havent had any issues with my 3600. If I run Prime 95 the temperatures are not great, but thats a real torture test and I should put on a better cooler if I want to run that all day (who does that anyway?) Its just a torture test for CPUs.

I am this set up to a Asus Rog Strix x470 with 16 gb of 3200 Ballistix ram and a AMD Wraith Prism cooler. And after 3 months of fairly heavy gaming, I am nothing but pleased with this cpu. All I did was plug it into my mobo and it runs a consistent 4.1 ghz without me overclocking it or anything. it handles the latest games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Borderlands 3 in 1440p with ease. Plus even with just an air cooler on it, its temps never pass like 55 degrees C. While of course this is not the best cpu on the market, Im blown away with how well it performs for $200. I highly recommend this product.
