AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

Great processor with a terrible cooling system. I strongly do not recommend using a standard cooler for the following reasons: 1 - the shape with the logo puts pressure on the RAM if you have 4 of them. 2 - it is very noisy. 3 - the most important reason, it removes heat very poorly. I provided photos with temperature descriptions. Replaced it with (COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 RGB BLACK EDITION) and everything was fine. Im using a non-overclocked processor.

I am not new to building PCs and this CPU is the first CPU I have ever had that was broken on arrival. When it arrived there were no immediate signs of any damage of the product but after diagnosing RAM issues, GPU issues, Motherboard Issues and even just wiring problems one thing always remained the same which was the fact any PC with this CPU inside it was not functioning while my 2600x worked fine in all of the computers it was used in. I advised people to get a refund and do not buy from amazon and buy it from more trusted part sellers. I will be having a refund on this product.

I am a huge AMD fan boy. I have several AMD builds. I bought this to make my parents a new computer in a small form factor and it runs soooooo smooth!! I highly recommend this CPU. Just know what your needs are before buying.

Se puede jugar todo en bajo pero se pueden jugar, es una maravilla que tiene este procesador sin tener una tarjeta gráfica

Temperatura muy baja,25°C en IDLE y 30°C para ver youtube,45°C para los juegos como civilization(deepcool gamaxx 400,temperatura amb.20°C)

this cpu and the 5600x are pretty similar in performance but the 5600g runs A LOT cooler.

The first 5600G I received had an issue restarting: I had to RESET (via button) the entire system to force a restart. But with Amazons and AMDs excellent customer service, replacement was simple and the new APU works flawlessly.

one thing to be aware of is this is not on the Microsoft list of processors so it will not allow you to install windows 11 . Will be using it on my Linux PC so check first if the processor is on the Microsoft list before you buy . Having to buy another processor that is on the list ! The 5600G is not but the 5600X is so check !
