AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

I was looking to upgrade my gaming PC, and it’s the perfect time to upgrade right now. Excellent gaming for anyone anywhere, cheaper lcd/led 4k displays, look no further. Seriously, I spent months - years even looking to upgrade my 10 year old gaming PC. I’ve played games on other next gen consoles, and my old gaming computer with its overclocked Radeon 5850 could still play anything I threw at it but at the lowest settings. I ended up removing my water cooling and just using the fan included, runs cool and this thing can play nearly ANYTHING at max. Games that aren’t optimized that well like Valheim don’t do too well on even $500 gpu’s, but from testing you can play it at medium settings with JUST this cpu. Pick up ram and a mobo and with this cpu you’ll be having a great time.

I have been an AMD fan for over 20 years, partly because of Intels market practices in the past. AMD has developed into a thriving and competitive company especially under the leadership of Lisa Su. She and her teams have brought AMD to the forefront of computing technology. And they have done that with their own hard work rather than berating other companies. Before I started building my own systems, I purchased HP computers with AMD processors. In many cases, those processors had a faster buss than Intel, because of the internal design. They served me well in those days and still do. Today, the competition is a little tougher, but AMD products still shine brightly in performance and features. This Ryzen 5 5600G is powerful and adequately priced for those who dont need a Ryzen 7 or 9. At 65 watts power consumption, it can chomp the bits at 4.4 GHz. This with onboard video makes it adequate for gaming. Im not a gamer so cant provide more info on that. If my past experience is an indicator, this processor will provide long service for a happy geek. And the price has been steadily declining.
