AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

I had this fir the past month and I got to say it as made a difference from Intel core i7 8600 to 5600x with my 3600mhz at 1.35v timings 16-19-19-39. Games never run more smoothly than I imagined.

Pretty much the title. Everything feels fast and it can handle pretty much whatever I throw at it (God of War, RDR2, RE2/RE3/RE Village). Great value overall.

very good cpu for the price. would recommend to buy a cpu cooler with it for better performance.

The best you can buy for performance and great value. Didn’t use the provided fan cooler and easily secured an AIO from BeQuiet

I purchased this CPU because the Ryzen 5 3600 that came with my pre-built computer was faulty from day 1 and diagnosing the issue was difficult. Its been almost 3~ weeks since I installed it and it works like a dream.

I bought this to upgrade my 2nd gen to this one. I say I did see an improvement and I like it. I dont have much to say other then this card get hot, really hot so if you dont have a decent CPU heatsink. Whether its water cooled or air cooled, it will be ok to over clock. But if you dont have a good heatsink, dont over clock it will get too hot. (My opinion), but if you dont have enough for the 3rd gen, but have enough for the 2nd I say just go with what you can get, They are close enough in performance I say.

Screaming fast CPU. Now Im comparing against a ryzen my old 1600x... The 5600 x destroyed in every possible way while its tdp is around similar and runs cooler. Games like red Dead 2 no longer slow down in places where it use too. Eg CPU bound processing like towns and built-up areas where causing huge slow down. My Computer boots in under 6 seconds with M2 or SSD. Definitely recommended for gamers however if youre willing to wait for the Next Generation and ddr5 it may be better in the long run.
