> 24 hourUpgrading from Ryzen 2600 and its so good. Its a great budget CPU. I paired it with Asus B550 Tomahawk and got Noctua NH-U12S redux cooler. Works like a charm. I did upgrade the BIOS on the MB just to be save even though it said you dont have to.

> 24 hourIm a hesitant person when it comes to big purchases, so when I finally worked up the gusto to start upgrading my pc, I found this to be the best bang for your buck. Mind you Im upgrading from an i5 6500 and the last amd cpu i owned was a 1.2ghz athalon xp.... so this is a really good upgrade and step back into amd imo. First time I ever had a cpu place top 5 on cinebench. Def recommend this cpu.

> 24 hourSimilar single core performance as the higher Ryzen 5900x, which is important for many games and general productivity software. Worth the higher price from 3600, 6 cores is more than enough. Havent had any game that maxes it out yet. PBO brings it to 4.8Ghz all-core with air cooling

> 24 hourRecently upgraded from an old motherboard (Maximus Gene VIII to an Asus Tuf B550). And changed from an i5-7600k to this AMD CPU. It was such a major upgrade that I was not expecting. I watercooled my i5 and it was still reaching pretty hot temperatures under stress, as well as using more wattage. The AMD CPU is just such a major upgrade. The single thread performance is awesome and 6 cores leaves you for a lot of multitasking. My i5-7600k really hated bluestacks, the ryzen can handle it no problem. Its a major upgrade compared to what I had. It also runs cooler and seems to use less power. So it is a lot more effective. An awesome CPU for the price and it is likely to start coming down in price. Still, this will likely be the go to cpu for a few years now.

> 24 hourby far the best gaming CPU for the price currently available. handles everything you throw at like a champ. i have a 5800x3D in another build of mine but i actually prefer the 5600 because of how cool it stays relative to its performance. if youre getting a 4090 (which why would you) i wouldnt recommend this CPU only because it will likely bottleneck the 4090s performance. but if youre a normal person using any other GPU, this is the best choice.
