AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Nice and fast chip. Performs and can be overclocked. Toss the stock cooler and get yourself something better, either an AIO or a nice tall fan cooler. Would like to have a 5800x but the price is a bit high right now so that will be in the next build. Photo is with a Wraith Prism Cooler that does not come with this cpu, but I am chucking that also just waiting for the AIO to arrive. Not even in a case yet as you can see.

Been wanting to get a new processer for a few years and this is really good , easy ti install and set up no issues so far and not needed to overclock as of yet..

Long time AMD builder. Nothing short of Expected. Was hesitant to buy the 5 vs the ryzen 7 but from features and match-ups I read not much a big jump to the 7 other than cores and threads. The speed is perfect. I had bee running a x955 since 2011 with four cores. Awesome processor. Will see what happens. Only down point is the matchup to the RX 560 still cant push to the x16 PCIe which doesnt really amount to much. But the rx560 worked great in the 880GM- USB3 for ever in a day. Nice to bump up to a faster PC.

I used the cpu for 4 weeks and well the pin decided to bend and I had to get a replacement because the cpu is the best one I could afford

Fantastic processor, super fast and a massive upgrade from my old FX-8350. The included AMD stealth heatsink is a bit weak for this processor if you want to use it for gaming, if you want it to run nice and cool you will want a bigger aftermarket cooler, decent ones can be had for about £30.
