This cpu is powerful for its price. It runs the games I need it too and never gets above 40% usage with my everyday tasks and games. My only complaint is when I do stress this cpu in testing stability, it throttles after reaching max temp. I use an AIO and I’m not sure if I bought a 360 instead of a 240 it would keep it cool. AMD says this is normal but I wonder about the longevity of it.

Annoyed I pulled the trigger on this and I cant even find a responsibly priced motherboard. Now you can pick up a 13600KF for $309, and its significantly more powerful. Personally Im thinking about just returning my 7600x and picking up the 13600k. AMD should be charging around $200-225 for this tops.

I was initially worried about the 95C temperature targeting making my system too noisy, but thats because I was used to the old way to tune fans. It used to be you had to stress-test your CPU and then clumsily tweak your fan curve to keep it cool while often getting really loud. The new behavior essentially allows you to set the exact maximum fan speed you want since you know the CPU wont go above that 95C maximum temperature.

This was my first pc build. Processor seems to be working well. However, their seems to be some stability issues with the default overclocking setting on my motherboard (not XMP/EXPO, that works fine) . Pretty stable otherwise.

Gets a little warm but that was to be expected. Runs everything I need like a champ and was a good value for me.

Replaced a box with a Ryzen 5 3600, huge gains. Runs much hotter. I ended up going with an AIO liquid cooler, and with a bit of undervolting you can keep it at under 85 under full load. Its pretty zippy. Kind of wished I had gone with the Ryzen 7, but ive got no real complaints.

I was going to get the 7700x but as other reviewers have stated its not that much faster in gaming. I have this 7600x paired with a 7900XT graphics card for 1440p gaming and its a beast of a combo! I did purchased this cpu from microcenter but regardless of where you buy I highly recommend it.

Welcome to the new era of performance. AMD Ryzen 7000 Series ushers in the speed of “Zen 4” for gamers and creators with pure power to tackle any game or workflow on the digital playground.
