Bought this to replace a Ryzen 3, it was defective out of the box, local computer shop and phone call with Microsoft confirmed this. Working with Amazon to come to a resolution still. I think it was an isolated incident as the replacement Ryzen 5 I just purchased is working great. AMD offers zero support for their products except an email support that never gets returned.

Great cpu especially for the price and would recommend but putting the fan cooler on can take some man handling so look out for that.

I got it for $160 when it was on sale and it’s one of the best cpus I’ve ever had and it’s doing a good performance with my gtx 1070
