AMD has always been a reliable and has been my go to choice for my media center servers and work horse computers.

Good: Price/performance ratio is amazing. Loads of performance for multitasking. Comes with a Wraith cooler (not used in my case, replaced with Hyper 212 Black). Stays nice and cool under load. Good boost clocks. Good bargain nowadays.

The install took a whole five seconds. So far I think its the most value per core. On my X570 chipset, the Ryzen 7 2700 (non-X) is clocked at 3.9 GHz stable on all cores. A single 140mm liquid AIO from Corsair is more than enough for cooling. So much so that it can be passively cooled with the fans off when at idle and low load. With a GTX 1650 OC and 32 gigs of ram, it plays call of duty and full resolution and temps stay in the 50s and fans turn on at low speeds. Overall the PC consumes 190 watts at full tilt. I extremely pleased with my purchase look forward to pushing this processor to the absolute edge of its functionality

Super fast performance and one of the top of the line current CPUs. Should be able to be relevant next 2-3 years.
