> 3 dayI was an early adopter of Ryzen having purchased a R5 1600X back in 2017 when they were first released. AMD chose to guarantee 5yrs support for the AM4 socket and have kept their word. I upgraded to the 3700X over the weekend and the machine boots faster and is snappier if that helps. Process was easy for my Asus X370 Prime Pro motherboard - upgraded bios first, reboot and loaded to default settings then shut down, install new processor, reboot, default settings and away you go! Would have been 5 stars if the price was a bit lower (say £249). However price included fan and next day delivery so I am happy

> 3 dayUpgraded from my FX cpu and was amazed! Didnt care for the variable CPU clock speed, so I set this at 4.2Ghz with 1.25v...stable, works, and runs way cooler temp wise. Water cooling and air cooling did about same on the temp, but water cooling cools it down faster after spiking. Normally idles at 30c and during gaming goes up to 52c. Great bang for your buck!

> 3 dayReally happy I chose to get the 7 3700x 8 core. Its amazingly fast. I have a brand new Asus rog strix b550-f gaming mobo and it worked with that right out of the box. But I updated the bios straight away. I have 32gb of 3600mhz hyperx Predator ram. A 850watt nzxt gold series psu. I have a Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 580 8GB Special Edition graphics card and it all runs extremely well together.

> 3 dayLikely the best bang for your buck processor you can get right now. I have had it for just over a year and have had no problems. Works great for gaming when paired with an rtx 3070. The only real complaint I have is that the cooler isn’t the greatest. I would highly suggest getting a different cooler if you plan on overclocking even a little bit.

> 3 dayI purchased this CPU to be the heart of my new home workstation. I mated it to an ASUS ROG Strix B550A with an XFX RX 6700XT Graphics card. I did a quick tune to slightly overclock it to 4050 MHZ with no problems at all. This CPU is a beast with out a lot of power and heat--with a TDP of only 65 watts! I mainly use it to edit 4K and 1440K videos for our churchs YouTube channel with Wondershare Filmora 12! when Filmora 12 really pushes this CPU to its limit--100% on all 16 threads! The hottest this CPU gets is 68c under full load with the stock air cooler! I love the colorful RGB air cooler that came with it too!
