AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

the first thing I want to other buyers know is that the integrated radeon vega 8 graphic is not working with with my asus b450 mini itx gaming board. I went to asus website and updated my bios to the latest version that supports ryzen 5000 series before installing the cpu. my pc recognizes the new 5700g right away, but there is no vega 8 can be found in device manager.

We found that it did not work. I actually took the entire computer to a computer store with a very good technician. He put in a work bench 5700G into my motherboard, and it worked fine. He put the one from Amazon in, and no go. Amazon refunded my money so all is good, but I was still disappointed because the store had no 5700g’s for sale, and in order to get the computer running, I had to settle for a less powerful AMD cpu. For what it’s worth, I would have tried with 5700g again if I had had the time and the store had had them in stock. I still think highly of AMD. Hopefully these bad cpu’s happen less and less.
