AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Upgraded from a Ryzen 3600. Streaming UHD with Dolby Atmos from pc to plex ( roku ultra ) just wasnt possible with the 3600. It would buffer, stop playing, just a no-go situation. Great for gaming tho (I am also an avid Black ops mp enthusiast with a 5700xt gpu). This cpu is amazing. EVERYTHING just runs smoothly. Ive only had it a few weeks, and I was a little salty about the price, but I did my research and reads LOTS of articles about the new zen 3 architecture and IPC etc. Gotta say...I dont see how AMD or Intel can top the performance of this cpu. Flat out just chews up anything I throw at it! Not overclocking it either.

Upgraded from Intel 4690k to this, it was a huge step up. Delivery was quick as usual. Happy with my purchase.

Preis lag unter der UVP. Normalerweise hätte ich den 5900X bestellt, zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellung war dieser aber höchstens mit einem Aufschlag von ca. 35% erhältlich und daher komplett uninteressant - genau wie der 5600X, der auch noch über dessen UVP lag.

great single core & multicore performance.

je suis passé dun 2700 a ce 5800X et la différence est choquante (attention a bien mettre a jour votre BIOS si vous utilisez une carte B450)

Amazingly it has left me no regrets having spent $500 of the $2k Biden and Kampala’s owe me. I’m able to get Apex Legends at 1440p maxed out settings 140fps no problem compared to my 3600. Also VR gaming has never been smoother and encoding with handbrake much faster.

Sono passato da Intel a Ryzen e sono contento del passaggio. Ottimo sia per il Gaming che per la varia produttività , scalda molto più che un Intel quindi consiglio un buon dissipatore

Bought this as an upgrade from the old Ryzen 5 3400g, without a doubt it was a huge upgrade!
