> 3 dayThe Tctl temperature that motherboards use as a proxy for CPU temperature on this chip is a raw value with no moving average applied. So at idle at least every 10 seconds it will jump 10 to 15 degrees C (18-27 F) for a split second before dropping back down to the CCD 1 & 2 die temperatures. That sets the included Wraith Prism off toward full RPM with a loud roar. Of course, before the CPU fan even has a chance to significantly increase speed the temperature has dropped back down. But the fan wont know that until the next temperature reading so the fan continues loudly toward full max RPM. A few seconds later the fan drops its speed back down, only to have the cycle repeated about 10 seconds later. Really ANNOYING.

Greater than one weekIve had this processor for 6 months daily, hard gaming use. I can describe this amazingly powerful processor in one word; OVERKILL! Im not even kidding here! I have 64gb 3600 RAM, RTX 2080 Super Triple OC, RAID-0 M.2s, x570 mobo, and Ive NEVER seen this processor work harder than 4% of its capacity. Yes, not a typo, 4 whole percent. Ive run multiple simultaneous instances of Elite Dangerous on Ultra everything graphics with all NVidias tricks turned on, VR, multi-monitor, while recording, editing, playing music, and code compiling, all at the same time and this processor laughs at it. It uses so little of its capability that if you werent gaming youd likely not even need a fan to cool it. Short-hand here, save some money and get a Ryzen 5 or 7. This Ryzen 9 is like bringing a fleet of actual military tanks to board game of chess. Ridiculously overpowered and it laughs at anything you do with it, while asleep.

> 3 daySo I bought ryzen 3900x along with aorus master x570 and 64gb corsair rams to replace my old nuc8i7 that I have been working for almost 3 years. I was expecting a huge differance in performance but guss what? I got the half the performance of my old nuc with the new setup. I hope I could tune otherthing to get the best of this setup but anyway I will keep trying and may be change my review later

> 3 dayProcesseur vraiment puissant, rapide, stable même avec les applications uniquement 32 bits. Si je devais faire une critique, je me plaindrais du système de fixation du Ventirad.

> 3 dayFirst let me say this thing is fantastic. Ive been building personal computers since 2000 and this is the largest Improvement Ive ever had in a build. Boot times are incredible, never gets hot with the proper thermal paste applied. I bet I dont even use 10% of what its capable of in daily activities. I could have saved a lot of money but this was my compromise for not buying the 3950X which I definitely would not have able to push to its limits.

> 3 dayAMD is on a tare with their new 7nm processors. This is my third Ryzen; 1800x, 2700x, and now 3900x. I’m more than impressed. This little thing rips through 4K video editing.
