AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Vengo de un ryzen 7 2700x, y aunque aquel procesador también es muy bueno (a pesar del paso de los años), la diferencia es notoria.

Adquirí el procesador Ryzen 5900x, la caja llegó en aparentemente buen estado y sellada, pero al abrirla el procesador que había dentro era un Phenom II, que se mostraba claras señales de haber sido manipulado. Recibí una estafa mayúscula.

I came from an I seven 9700 K unlocked and this absolutely blows it away and everything. Yes it cost almost twice the money but it’s future proof and very very powerful. I haven’t had an AMD system in years but I’m super glad I switched. If you’re looking to go AMD this is the processor to get definitely. The thread for prayers are nice but their way over priced and they’re not much more and performance anyway

Last year, I built a 3700X machine on an X570 board so that I would have all of the features of the 5000 series of CPUs available on my board if I decided I wanted to upgrade later. Last week, my 10850K main PC started acting weird, randomly restarting out of the blue, so rather than immediately spend a bunch of time trying to troubleshoot that, I decided to get a 5900X and drop it into my X570 board instead. And boy is this thing quick. Its snappy with everything it does. I have it paired with an RTX 3080 and gaming with this combo is pure bliss. Load times in games are noticeably faster with the 5900X over even the 10850K.

One of the best CPUs currently on the market. amazing multi thread and best in class single thread performance. Super happy with how its handled thus far, and the speed is just amazing.

Upgraded from a R5 2600 to the R9 5900X when the price dropped and the performance uplift is very significant. This is far more CPU than I actually needed but I will probably not need to upgrade for 5 years.
