amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

I bought these after getting a Switch for Christmas. I dont like to use anything with a screen without first buying a screen protector, since scratches drive me crazy, and I generally prefer glass since they hold up the best (in my experience). These were cheap and came in a pair, plus they had great reviews, so I gave them a shot. They arrived quickly (Prime), were packaged nicely, and are exactly as described. The pack comes with step-by-step instructions and has everything you need: wipes to clean the actual screen (wet and dry), little tape tabs to hold the protector in place after youve gotten it aligned perfectly, and a cardboard card to squish out air bubbles after removing the film from the adhesive. Im sure picky about my screen protectors going on perfectly and this one did, so I would definitely recommend using the tape tabs it comes with, or just use some tape of your own. Ill never apply a screen protector without that method again. Id also recommend applying it while in the bathroom, shortly after someone has showered (or during, that works too), as that really does seem to be the best way to avoid getting lint under the protector. So far its working perfectly: no air bubbles, no issues with touchscreen, and the console still fits perfectly in the dock. Id definitely recommend these and Im sure Ill buy more in the future.

Ive installed a lot of screen protectors in the past for various electronic devices. Usually I end up regretting it - the installation is a hassle, the screen ends up clouded, and the edges start peeling within a week. I wasnt actually planning on buying one for my new Switch, but multiple people told me how their (unprotected) new device ended up scratched from the dock. Oh well, I thought. Its cheap enough ... This is the first screen protector that I can unreservedly recommend. Its hard to tell theres any protector on the screen at all! The tab installation is really, really nice and straightforward. Ive never had problems with trapped dust with previous protectors, but I do tend to get fingerprints under the edges, which the tabs here completely avoid. Ive heard a few people here say they had problems with peeling - I havent had that yet, but I also let my Switch sit unused for 24 hours before putting it back in the dock, so maybe that is why. In general my tips for installation are the same as everyone elses here - run a hot shower for about 10 minutes in advance to steam up the bathroom (and weigh down dust particles), watch the installation video, use the tabs ... this is a really nice product, and I would 100% buy again.

At first I thought theses were not as stated or couldnt install cleanly. We had tons of bubbles and raindowing. After I examined it closely I realized my son had installed it upside-down. I cleaned both the device and the screen and tried again. I knew it wouldnt be perfect because of the failed attempt, but it actually installed quite well. There is one tiny spot we couldnt get fixed. Other than that, it looks perfectly clear and feels solid. I am pretty sure I can install the second one fine. Too bad I used up one already, but these are quality. We didt use the wipe or lint removers included in the pack, so I cant speak to the issues others had with them. The lint removers clearly state on them to not use on the Switch.

Just hard for me to follow instructions

Woke up this morning after cramming myself into a temporary housing situation due to home remodels, and my cat had evidently jumped onto my switch in the middle of the night which was stupidly placed at the bed side on the floor. I saw the cracks on the screen was incredibly upset. How could I be so stupid and leave it where the cat could jump on it? I looked at it and remembered these screen protectors that I bought way back when I first got my switch at launch and was so grateful it was still on. I peeled it off slowly hoping beyond hope that it was just the screen protector that was damaged, and sure enough my switch screen was pristine like the day I got it. Mind you some of the splintering in the pic came from me peeling it off, but a majority of it was from the cat. I have immediately ordered another pack of these and will be extremely cautious with the switch until they arrive! Please buy these to protect your switch even if you think youre going to be extra careful with it and nothing could possibly happen, some day you will make a stupid mistake and this little screen protector has got your back.

Best screen protector I ever had, the glass is high quality it doesnt feel cheap when u touch it. I cant tell the difference between this and the glass on the switch at all, it doesnt fell like its going to scratch and it fits the switch like a glove, all the cut outs are made perfect honestly once its attached youll forget its even there, and they made it so easy to apply it took me less than a minute I do highly recommend you put this on your screen as soon as you buy your switch Iike do this first thing because you will avoid a lot of headaches trying to get your screen clean I didnt even have to do the hot shower method either because I did it this this way I was the type of person who hated screen protectors because you sacrifice some image quality for the protection but not here you get 100% of the image clarity there is no distortion of the colors at all I highly recommend this screen protector this is by far the best one on the market Im so glad I chose this one I think you will too.

I am a portable console collector. I have dozens of GBAs, modded GBCs and a metric ton of DSs. So I have a long and storied past with screen protectors. Ive installed dozens and dozens of them, and while some have been pretty good (Hori screen protectors for New 3DS XL) NONE have gone on with zero problems. Yesterday I put on this protector. I followed the directions exactly, and watched in amazement as the screen protector went on with ZERO bubbles. I didnt even need to push out any bubbles. It fits perfectly, and seems very scratch resistant. So here are two tips: 1. DO NOT follow tutorial videos on youtube. I saw a bunch of people showing you how to install these things on youtube, and they were messing it up and pushing out bubbles and whatnot. Dont listen to them. Just do EXACTLY what the instructions inside say and you will have a perfect hassle free installation. 2. It looks like the new docks have little rubber bumpers installed on the bottom where people were complaining of scratches to prevent future scratching. Mine has those. That makes the fit a LITTLE tight in the dock. I dont think it will be a problem, but its something to be aware of.

Yup. During a particularly frustrating round of Mario Party, my kid made a big angry chomp on the side of his switch. It shattered the screen protector. However were the protector not there, there certainly would have been a big tooth mark in the screen at the very least. Instead, the screen is completely fine. Also, none of the pieces of glass came loose from the screen when the protector broke, so there were no errant pieces of broken glass. The broken protector came off the screen fairly easily with a spudger. Best of all, this was a 2-pack, so I already had a replacement ready to go. On my switch, I have an Invisible Shield branded protector that cost WAY more. It doesnt fit quite as well (smaller all around), and I think these are not only cheaper, but better than the name brand.

This is the first screen protector Ive been able to easily install with no bubbles, no dust and no issues. First: The directions provided in English are PERFECT - if you follow the clear, printed directions, you should also be able to easily prepare and install these screen protectors. It took me less than five minutes. A web link was provided for video instructions, but I didnt watch it. Both of the tempered glass screen protectors arrived in perfect shape - intact, no scratches or bubbles or cracks. The provided cleaning wipes worked perfectly and gently. The clear backing peeled away cleanly and easily. The sound ports for the Nintendo Switchs speakers lined up perfectly with the notches in the screen protector. There is also a notch in the screen protector for the light sensor (to automatically adjust the screens brightness) - it also lines up perfectly. The screen protector is exactly the correct size. The tabs provided for lining up and applying the protector with the screen work perfectly; the second sides protective backing, which is attached to the alignment tabs, peels away easily and doesnt pull away the screen protector with it. First off, I dont often write reviews. I purchased this screen protector because most others had lousy reviews. Im also a fan of tempered glass vs film. At any rate, this product, as well as the company selling it, is superb. First off the product. It fits perfectly. Ive had other screen protectors on products where you line the protector on one edge and it creates a gap on the other. Not this. If you line it up to one edge, you get 100% coverage. I was REALLY impressed. It comes with the alcohol wipe, dry wipe cloth, microfiber cloth and a cardboard card to push air bubbles out. On my first application, I had a piece of fuzz underneath which really bugged me. I pulled the film up and used a piece of scotch tape to remove the fuzz and the protector went back on without issue. Looked better the SECOND time I put it on. I was so surprised this worked despite reading other forum posts about trying this. The company also emails you about your purchase and asks if theres anything they can do to assist. Nice personal touch. The fit is a little snug in the dock,but no scratches or damage. Get this item. If its back-ordered (like it was when I purchased it), just wait it out.
