Not recommended for kids. The drop rate for the special items is very small. You get the armor set eventually, but the sword is elusive; still haven’t gotten it and if I do get it, will rarely use it if at all. For something you buy to unlock in the game - essentially an in-game purchase - this is a huge let waste and let down. For a kid, the build up leads to a massive let down.

Fast shipping, works as advertised, and while the market dictates the price (there is low availability and I was willing to pay for it), it’s sad some of us have to resort to paying upwards of $100 for something that sold from authorized retailers for about $15. I only paid, because I am a long time Zelda fan and I have the means to do so. Nintendo should see the market and manufacture more, so gouging doesn’t occur, but they have a tendency to avoid overstocking.

I usually buy the Zelda or Metroid Amibos as they’re my favorite titles, but I’m also a figure collector. The sculpt is good and if you’re lucky, (it’s random) when scanned while playing Breath of the Wild you’ll get Fierce Deity Link Equipment drops. I’ve had comical attempts where after scanning the amibo the treasure chest lands on the ground and hurtles 70mph down a cliff, kills a monster and falls off a cliff....twice. Advice? Scan it on level ground! ;)

Its an awesome amiibo but its total crap that Nintendo does this to their fans. I should not have had to pay $50 for this figure but I feel like if I kept waiting it would be harder to find. So 5 stars for the figure and 1 star for Nintendo.

This was a gift for my son. Its interactive with a gaming system(s) and he says it works and does what its supposed to terrifically. He loves it!!
