These amiibo a well detailed and really cool. If you are buying them for what they do in the game, sorry to say they dont do much but just sing to you. Also if you are an amiibo box collector, the box is damage in the corners because of shipping, but the amiibo inside are just fine. I dont care about the box so there good for me. They came in about a week so pretty fast. I overall bought them for Splatoon 2, because Nintendo said you can use them in that game as well. Really cool to add to my collection. Also #TeamMarie

The figures look great, and also work with the NFC.

My son like these amibo figures and really wanted them until he found out they really dont do much in the splatoon game. He still likes them

Fun addition to our amiibo and Splatoon collections. The box being in Japanese was a plus for collector, or someone wanting to practice Japanese.

Great quality

No discernible difference between the Japanese and American Amiibo other than packaging. At the time of this review, the price of this particular listing was on par if not cheaper than the MSRP on brand new individual Amiibo. Fairly new to Amiibo myself, so I cannot speak for older games, but as far as Splatoon 2 goes youll get exclusive gear from Callie and Marie. First scan will get you the first piece of gear to the set that each gives. Once you level up a bit, rescan for the rest of the gear plus two additional songs from the original Splatoon for the sound test (Bomb Rush Blush/Tide Goes Out) Additionally, any Splatoon Amiibo can save gear loadouts and let you equip them straight from the multiplayer menu. Not a major game changing feature, but useful and time saving if you keep separate loadouts for each particular ranked mode.
