Amsterdam Acrylic 120 ml Set / 5 Primary

Good pigment. The white and black was most used with my needs. Its expensive tho.

Like many people have said, the red is not pure and is more of a magenta color. This is still a great deal and I would recommend it as a good basic set. It helped me finish a semester of Zoom painting since my oil paints were at school and I wasnt about to spend a few hundred to buy more.

Pigmented and so smooth. I love it

Ive been painting for a long time and i used to think it truly didn’t matter what paint i used as long as it was acrylic (my preferred medium). After using this paint that couldn’t be farther from the truth. This paint has a great weight to it and is very pigmented. Would recommend.

I love this paint! It’s cruelty free and vegan friendly, which is 5 stars in my book by default. Some people seem concerned which the colors included in the set. Actually, primary magenta and cyan are true primary colors. They are the colors printers use to make each and every color we see. I love this about this brand because it’s unique, and it gives the artist more vibrant colors and mixing power. You wouldn’t get the vibrancy and the same colors for regular red or ph. Blue. Don’t be fooled, this set is a great set to have in your stash.

The red an blue arent primary colors...or they werent in my pack. The reason for getting primary colors is to be able to mix colors. It makes it a bit tricky with colors that arent primary. And they turn out more likely to be muddy.

I bought these paints to paint my grad cap & I really like them! The cap started as burgundy & ended up pink & black. The black, blue & magenta are very opaque but the yellow & white are pretty sheer.

Package looked fine on the out side, inside package was broke open with the black, red and blue paint exploded all over. What do I do now?

I love this brand for acrylic paint. They say it’s a pack of the primary colors plus white and black but that “red” is a primary magenta and the blue is too light to be a primary blue and the name of it’s primary cyan. Even thought this brand doesn’t sell a paint that says “primary blue” the phthalo blue in my opinion is closer to a primary blue then the one included in the package. But I saw the price and thought that it wasn’t bad so despise the description and one other review about the magenta paint, I still bought it cause I honestly don’t care but this review is just for people that expect the actual primary colors in it. In case anyone is trying to find the closest to primary red and blue in this brand I inserted pics of the paints I use. Hope this helps somebody.
