> 3 day“We’ll just get a new screen door” - is what my husband said when I showed him these after our bottom wheel broke. Well, a year later and guess what? We still didn’t have that replacement! While the cost of a generic screen door isn’t too much, trying to lug it home from the store would be a challenge. I finally just ordered this piece and fixed the old door which had been sitting by the side of the house waiting patiently to be taken to the dump. The hardest part was dislodging the old wheel, after that the new piece popped right into place! A little bit of elbow grease to clean the door & WD40 on the element exposed track and we were back in business with an actual Anderson door. Also glad we kept the old screen door out of a landfill needlessly!

> 3 dayIf your screen door needs a replacement for the rollers, these are a perfect fit. Easy to install...as many noted, getting the old ones out is far harder than installing the new one...it only takes about 20 seconds to get the new ones in! The stem comes up perfectly in the hole for any adjustment needed.

> 3 dayThis product was used to replace rollers on an Anderson Patio screen door. I priced replacing the screen door, it was almost $400 but the repair company technician recommended trying to replace just the rollers first with out having to spend big money to replace the entire door. I figured I would at least try it. Well, it worked and very easy to install. I would recommend this to all.

> 3 dayI think the last set of two replacement rollers I installed lasted about 10 years of constant, everyday use. The old ones were still working to whatever degree, but it was definitely time to replace them! These replacements were an exact fit, and couldnt be easier to install. I know other reviewers griped about the price to pay for a hunk of plastic, and theyre right...but what are you gonna do?...the door needs to open and close smoothly, and these are going to work. Various reviews also mentioned the problem getting the old rollers out. The key I found to removing them, however, is to slide a very narrow screwdriver between the lip of the roller tab and the screen door frame. Pushing the screwdriver will press against one of the two the retaining clips. Jiggle the roller a little to start pulling it out, and then push the screwdriver in from the other side to free the other retaining clip. Pops right out without a struggle. No need for needle nose pliers, which I had ready but didnt need.

> 3 dayThe product is perfect if you have to replace old ruined ones. Very easy to install; YouTube videos are helpful. Getting out the old ones first, as others mention, can be difficult. I resorted to grabbing them with needle nose pliers and breaking off bits til the rest dropped out the opening. Once installed they work about as well as the original, which is to say not perfectly, even when you manage to get the entire door back on track. This is not really a problem of this product, but an inherent issue with these patio doors.

Greater than one weekSince the part was an original replacement everything worked well. Easy to install easy to adjust working perfectly my only gripe is that it’s made of plastic so I suspect that in a few years this too will wear out either to usage or weather. I had tried to replace the wheels with a metal one from Home Depot but they did not fit. Maybe at some future point Andersen would consider making them out of better material.

23-04-2025These were a direct replacement for a 1997 or 1998 era Anderson Screen door. The original plastic wheels cracked and the door came off the track. These were easy to install but required a little bit of adjusting the get the door square and level.

> 3 dayAlmost every time I opened our patio screen door it would come off the tract. I had a difficult time putting it back on the tract. Our son told us it needed new rollers on it. We bought the two sets of rollers from Amazon. Good price and easy to install. I’m so happy that we can go in and out of the screen door and it stays on track. Glides easily also.
