Greater than one weekOur two guinea pigs love this hay feeder. It holds so much more than the one that hangs on the side of the cage. Also they can eat from opposite sites so daddy doesn’t bully the baby out of the way so much.

> 3 dayThe product is well-made, sturdy and won’t tip over even when my guinea pigs stand up on it. But it did not reduce hay waste whatsoever. Sigh.

> 3 dayWell made. Easy to use. Bunnies use it as a toy if hay gets low.

> 3 dayAfter a number of methods we found this and it has been PERFECT. Our piggies would crawl in every rack, even undoing Velcro. Got a leg stuck in wire racks, soiled fabric bags only lasted a short time, bowls flipped in seconds, etc. Best of all they can not get inside. The cap locks, but has not once been knocked over. It holds a lot of hay. It is unfinished, probably for their health, but I was worried the Guineas would pee on it and wood would absorb the smell BUT that has not been an issue in any way.

> 3 dayWhen we first got this for our bunnies we loved it! But when I went to refill it, top screw just came right out like the hole where the screw goes is too loose and now the top will no screw on securely. It just falls right out, I cannot secure the top on. Is there any way to fix this so the top will stay screwed in??

Greater than one weekWe had a different hay rack for my guinea pigs, but they chewed up the entire thing, so I bought this one. Its been 5 months and not one bite mark! It makes them really work to pull out the hay so it keeps them busy. It also holds plenty of hay. Would definitely purchase again!!

> 3 dayLet me just start by saying that this is 100% Lady Christmas Bunnington approved. We placed it in her play kennel last night and she was immediately going to town on it, working out some hay and enjoying some kibble in the bottom tray. What Chris doesnt know is that weve really struggled to find a good solution to her hay problem. If we put it in a pan she just pees on it. If we put it in a canvas hanger she chews through it. If we put it in a plastic bin hanging on the side of the kennel she goes through the hay so fast we can barely keep the small thing filled. We figured wed give it another go, as Lady Christmas does insist on having sufficient quantity of hay at all times. Oh, the horrors of the one time we let it run out. The foot thumping was never ending before my wife and I, Chriss humble servants, finally managed to refill it. We were happy with how easy it was to assemble with just four screws and even more impressed with how much hay we were able to fit in at one time! Sprinkling a bit of kibble on the bottom tray made all the difference and gained us the absolute approval of Lady Bunnington, who has declared we shall be allowed to live for the next week (we hope to please her again before then.) In all seriousness, if youre looking for a hay solution, give this a shot. Shipping for us was next day, its well worth it for the price, and seems like itll be a good solution for Chris for a long time to come! 100% recommend.
