It Should be Noted and Praised the Fact that is is compatible with different systems, This Inland external enclosure (I have several) is a great value, compared to other ones i have, It has an aluminum housing which aids in heat dissipation helping to keep your drive cooler during intensive drive read & write activity. Definitely Useful.

This little m-SATA-SATA adapter is pretty neat. As I mentioned, its a nifty gadget. The build quality is outstanding and I personally think it would protect the internals much better than other cases designed for the same purpose. The Samsung T5 essentially gets a much needed upgrade to its outer shell, and it can also function with may of Atomos external field monitors. Recommended!

All right, this is pretty much a no-brainer buy a couple Samsung T5 preferably 2 TB mechanism that’s inside this, Andycine adapter. You do that and the ninja v will take care Samsung T5 so if they drives no problem, it will also make it easier to put the SSD into your computer and it works perfectly fine it for the price you can’t be the Samsung t5 the price do extremely cheap like 100 bucks. Is it no-brainer to get very green so it stays rise for your interview? The installation process is easy I have to do is have a little small screwdriver. Takes you about 15 minutes. How does it work perfectly the T fives are great Thursday drives that are used for the black magic cinema pocket camera pro all the time. It’s a proven solid-state drive in the sata to Sata adapter is also proven.

The casing is thick aluminium having the CNC look. It also act as a heat sink. The package comes with 3 thermal pads. It does get very warm when I did 64GB transfer test; it took 24 minutes. Theres cosmetic inconsistency in the finish of the AndyCine mSATA-SATA and the USBC-SATA. When both at connected, the inconsistency is more pronounced. The front red and silver back of both units does not match. Its not a show stopper. The cost is 3 times of regular mSATA to SATA adapter, but built much better.

This case looks fantastic on my Atomos Ninja V. Very well made. Now that the included screwdriver was too small for the Samsung SSD bolts, I had to go and purchase a kit to get the thing assembled.

Make sure you get the one compatible with your SSD.

I found this easy to assemble. It expanded the storage capacity of my recorder for less than buying it elsewhere. The case seems to be very durable and is made of metal. Also, Samsung SSDs seem to be going on sale frequently lately, so you can pick one up to use in here for a good price.

Theres a lot to love here, from the excellent build quality, to the easy assembly. Im pretty heavily in the Atomos ecosystem, and have run out of plastic 2.5 SSD cases, so adding a few mSATA drives with just as much capacity and a smaller footprint is a no brainer. Its not a huge selling point, but I also like how reminiscent of RED mini mags these are. Ill probably swap over to these with 2TB mSATA drives while I proactively replace my aging 2.5 drives.

I took a dogfish 500gb msata and stuck it into one of these guys. It worked perfectly. Followed the installation instructions but was sparing on the silicone in some parts to address the thickness issues that other people had mentions. I plan on pairing this with the USB C adapter to use along with my other lunchbox that I put my 860 into. If you have an old T5 lying around this is a cool way to recase it (though youll need the USB C adapter to use it)
