It is faster than my other cables. I like the Anker silicone cables better because they are more flexible.

I am not sure if it is a manufacturing defect or it happened during shipping, there is a bump in the middle of the cord that looks like it might have been heavily kinked at one time. Thinking it might be a quality control issue. I will be returning and not sure if I will reorder the sams brand or trying something else.

I have been through numerous cables from Amazon listed as USB 4. All but this cable have had one or more issues. Most of the cables Ive tested have grossly underperformed their advertised data transfer specs. One had intermittent connection issues. One didnt work at all. This cable is lightning fast. It supports Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0 (as it obviously should). While I have not been able to test data transfer to its advertised capabilities, it was capable of max transfer speeds via USB 3.2. It is durable but not excessively rigid as some of the other cables have been. Very pleased with the quality and value of this cable. Would love a 6ft option, as well. Keep up the good work, Anker.

I use this to charge my anker battery pack and it shows that this cable can handle the charging. I would buy this cable again. It can charge 40000 mah in 1 hour (depending on your charger).

Cat chewed through my original WD-Black cable (which was quite short and somewhat inconvenient) and needed a replacement. This cable is perfect for the job! Its longer, not quite as thick or rigid (so I can tuck the cord away) and its just as fast (possibly faster, seems like moving games from internal storage to external storage is slightly quicker). Good buy for data transferring, external SSDs, super fast charging.

Does nothing else besides transferring power, video and data. And does it with no fanfare or drama. Its a cable?

I bought this to use with my XP pen drawing tablet and it works really well. Also I trust anker with reliability and great price.
