I wanted the cable to connect my laptop through a docking station that is connected by HDMI to a Samsung television. The cable does not carry a stable signal so the television goes dark for about 5 seconds every couple of minutes. Not optimal

Having a Macbook Pro with thunderbolt connected monitors can often be a large issue. If you have the wrong cable, your macbook may sound like it is about to take off with the fans going into turbo speed. I ended up purchasing two cables for my two-monitor setup, the fan noise is easily down about 50% as well as the CPU usage being down substantially. I am using two of these cables connected from my macbook pro to 2 benq 4k monitors which also support power delivery to the mac. The charging has been working consistently and the picture has been flawless. Overall, I would recommend these cables to anyone that has a need for a more capable thunderbolt 4 cable that is certified!
