I use it with Gigabyte KVM monitor and this works great. Apple thunderbolt or other brands of expensive cables didnt work.

Was able to use a female to female connection connection to extend the dock to my laptop. Obviously that connection and port on the laptop also has to be the right spec, but I was still able to use the dock with 2 monitors plugged in and other accessories

Does nothing else besides transferring power, video and data. And does it with no fanfare or drama. Its a cable?

Needed a new data+power cable to hook up my portable USB-C monitor to my laptop. This cable does the trick, handles both data and power. Looks sturdy, but I have had it too short of a time to say anything about durability. Usually though, Anker products seems to hold up well, so I have a feeling the cable will last for a long time. Only thing that could have made it better, is if the cable was shorter and had 90 degree connectors.

Nice sturdy high end cable. I just wish it was possible for it to come in a 6 foot version. Sometimes only 3 foot is a bit hard to work with. But then again, it is not just a charging cable, it is meant for data transfer too, so the wireless length is limited by the technology. Overall very good, highly recommended

The cable delivers the promised bandwidth, so thankfully Ive run into no issues or slowdowns with my EGPU (Razer Core X) and thunderbolt 4 laptop

I am not sure if it is a manufacturing defect or it happened during shipping, there is a bump in the middle of the cord that looks like it might have been heavily kinked at one time. Thinking it might be a quality control issue. I will be returning and not sure if I will reorder the sams brand or trying something else.

I had an inner struggle... Well, not really, but you know how you wonder if a cable can be 35 dollars - I remember the time when you could buy almost your entire wardrobe for that much... But then now it is a few cups of coffee, and this little thing is a very fast charger (if you have a fast charging device, that is), and a great connector of your laptop to your monitor (a newer one, with usb c port). In 2022 it is well worth it - and highly recommended.
