Having bought several other brands on the market I was desperate to find one with decent electronics that didnt cause UHF interference on the car radio

Being happy with Anker products in the past and needing a vehicle charger upgrade, I decided to buy this for my 12v socket. Unfortunately, the physical dimensions of the charger are such that it is slightly too large in its girth to fit properly in a 12v socket, without significant use of force to push it in, which could damage the socket. Charging wise, it works very well, though I have found it to be incompatible with my Garmin GPS and some other USB-powered devices, including a Qi-charging pad that I use in my vehicle. I am not certain if this is due to Ankers Power IQ control, but I have seen charging issues (throttling, mostly) with many devices that have been connected to older Anker chargers with Power IQ. As devices have long had intelligent charging built into their hardware and chargers only supply the power that is requested by a device, in relation to the maximum amount of power that a charger can supply, its now rather silly for Anker to implement something like Power IQ, which supersedes any charging control built into a device, with its own charging control parameters.

Ladegerät tut was es soll und klemmt gut in der Ladedose.Einziges Manko: Die LED-Ladeanzeige ist so mini, dass man rein gar nichts sieht,wenn man nicht senkrecht darauf schaut. Hätte man sich sparen könne. Deswegen ein Stern Abzug.

So I went on a trip recently and lost the one I had, bought this one to replace and I’ve really only used it once. It does charge faster than my old one; I like that, and it looks nicer, my last one was less bulky. Overall I’m liking my purchase.
