> 3 dayDisappointed in Anker technology and adapters for the first time. I purchased these adapters so I may more easily connect my devices to my Newer MacBook Air With USB-C adapter ports. I normally use a large cable connected adapter with multiple ports, but I wanted something simpler to connect cables directly to my computer. I was excited when I arrived and incredibly disappointed to find that while they charged the device when connected to my computer none of my devices were even recognized by my MacBook. I connect multiple devices and not a single one was recognized. I tried sinking my Garmin Edge, Garmin FR 945, and my iPhone and “no joy” with any of them.

> 3 dayIt works for USB-A anything. I’ve used it to run VR off a laptop with too few USB-A, Hook up mice and drawing tablets, and USB flashdrives. It also works if you have a USB-C charger (like Apple’s new ones) and you want to use a USB-A cable like micro-USB to charge something else.

Anker has the solution with their USB-A to USB-C adapter. Plug your USB-A device/drive in the adapter, plug the adapter into the USB-C port on your computer, and Bobs your uncle! Works great, sells as a pair (so you can connect more than one device at a time, which is really handy), the price is good, and Anker is a solid company. Whats not to like? I sure like and use mine, and I think you will too. Highly recommend this adapter. 5 Stars.
