Not sure if it is the cable or my phone, but lots of connection drops with a USB drive. Pretty much unreliable. Anker does have warnings on other USB-C cables that they may not fit correctly on the LG V20, so it is a good chance of being the phone. Otherwise, seems to be good build quality. I will have to test on a friends phone to see if the same issues are present.

I am using this to connect USB devices to my Nokia 8 phone, and in that role this cable works perfectly.

Clearly my fault, but I wish the cord was a bit longer. I just never realized how short it was. Other than my mistake, this is solidly built and stays plugged in even if accidentally bumped. I havent run speed tests on it, but it clearly moves data faster than my old wires.

This Anker USB-C OTG cable is excellent. I use it to connect my Motorola G8 Power phone to the Topping E30 DAC, in combination with a longer USB cable to the DAC itself. The USB of the OTG cable fits very well into my phone. Doesnt slide out. I recommend this cable highly.
