Our 6 year old daughter had a school bag which was around the 18inch size, which was too big for her. We chose this product due to the boxy, sturdy shape in the product page as well as its pastel colors and size. Size wise it is an excellent fit for her frame. The colors are beautiful combination and there are many little details that serve as utility. The inside organization is very good, with plenty of pockets. The mesh at the back is good for heat management and the straps have a good, comfortable feel to them. My only disappointment is the lack of boxy-ness, similar to other bags we bought, when these bags are not full, they never stay upright and are all over the place. I was hoping for something like in the picture, which is not the case. Still, I would recommend it as a solid option for a first grader - size, material and looks wise.

Ive been looking for a backpack that is easy to use but not giant for my very petite 6 year old. This seems to fit the bill. She is able to pack enough of her items without having 10 pounds on her back. It is sturdy and with the flat bottom isnt falling all over the place. She loves the colors which is also a plus.

My daughter needed a new backpack, because the one she has been using for less than a year was already falling apart. So I looked for one that would be more durable when I came across this backpack by Ankuer. I could tell as soon as I opened the package that this is a nicer backpack than her previous one. The material is thicker, the zippers are better quality, and the shoulder straps are wider with nice padding. I think my daughter will be able to use this backpack for at least 2 years, maybe longer. It has plenty of room for all of her books and supplies, and it doesnt hurt her arms when carrying it like the old one did. For the price this backpack is a good deal, and I would recommend it to others.
