> 24 hourThe mat wasn’t big enough to set my pc tower on fully but it was good enough as I don’t work on my own stuff often. Static band was fine

> 24 hourIf youve bought generic essentials from no-name third party Chinese retailers off Amazon before, you wont be in for much of a surprise. The quality is acceptable and the written instructions border on unintelligible, but youll figure it out. Truthfully, you only really need the wrist strap and a ground connection to prevent ESD: all the mat does is provide a no-slip surface. This in itself can be useful, granted, but advertising everything else as a gift is simply disingenuous. The mat has practically no conductivity, so selling it as an ESD Safe product on its own is like selling a car without the battery and calling it road safe. Thankfully they did package those gifts with the mat so if nothing else they can save their own skin. If you already have a no-slip surface, youd be better off buying the strap and a way to connect it to ground. Ideally youd get a real ESD mat with a proper grounding setup, but Im reviewing this product from the point of view of a hobbyist. I have an AS in Electronics so Ive worked with industry-quality mats and grounding setups: if thats what youre looking for here, then look elsewhere. The silicone stench thats mentioned in other reviews is indeed an issue, but not for long. I just put it in a bathtub full of soapy water for like ten minutes and the smell greatly diminished. Alternatively (at least according to the manual) you can let it sit out for a couple of days to dissipate the smell, but who says patience is a virtue?

> 24 hourI have been needing an basic level antistatic esd mat for working on small electronics and entry lvl soldering, for some time. I especially love that this rolls up easy without creases or loss of form. also love the small and varied indent spaces for placement of small screws, parts, etc. finally love that it came with two sets of antistatic clips with grounding plug. I am hopeful it will be durable enough for my needs. I may need to invest in a larger one down the road that has more features, but for now this will help me with small repair projects. I do however wish there were different colors - like blue or white, so i could be able to easier see everything.

> 24 hourThis is a decent mat for occasional use. Just the right size for my needs. The smell that some complained about worried me, but on arrival yesterday there was almost no objectionable odor and today it is gone. I was also concerned that the mat would take a while to lie flat if it arrived rolled up. Well, it did arrive rolled up but lay flat on my workspace after one counter roll in the opposite direction. Also, I was able to use my old wrist strap connection with the longer cord. I agree that the one supplied is a bit too short, but could easily be extended if needed. This is not a professional ESD mat by any means, but at this price point, that is not the intent. One nice thing - I have already found this mat much easier to clean than my old one.
