I think they will work, but wish even a bigger size was available anywhere.

I bought these Metal Box Corner Protectors not to protect my coffee table edges, but to cover up its 3 corners that our rescue dog had chewed. Each corner protector uses 4 nails so they dont move around. They look great and saved me from having to buy a new coffee table.

These were what I needed to mend a damaged corner in my furniture.

my pup decided to chew on the corner of an exposed shelf so was looking at soft corners (ala baby proofing) when I saw these - measured a number of different ways and figured theyd work. WOW - they arrived in two days and are PERFECT size for covering the chew marks and more than that, they look great & enhance the look of the shelf, raising it up a notch! didnt have any screws / nails / tacks that size so used Liquid Nails to attach

The antique bronze finish on these was nicely done. The hole layout is the same on both sides of the piece. The hole layout being the same on both sides means the nails/brads used have to be short enough to not meet after going through the material. There are no brads or nails included with these so find your own, I used 1/2 brass brads from a picture hanging kit and they worked really well. I hope this was helpful.

Ok

These are a nice feature to add to your furniture items. They cover and protect the damaged edges and look good. My coffee table looks better because of these. The only con was that these are smaller than I expected.
