this stuff is great if your looking to get started and want something inexpensive. The odor of this is low if you ask me personally but still take the precautions with mask and gloves needed when handling this. I have no issues with this and for as much as i print a bottle will last me for months. Note though that even this is resin. The cured material is brittle the thinner you try to print SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND!! But other then that i have no complaints with this

Anycubic makes the best resin out there for printing, no other even comes close. Ive been 3d printing for over five years, and I currently own four different printers and have tried nearly every resin and filament on the market. Nothing beats Anycubic for both price and quality. I have legions of tabletop miniatures made from this stuff, and dozens of figurines. I only wish there was a discounted bulk order option, I go through 2 or 3 bottles a month.

Only negative is the smell, it’s really strong. However, the product has been working really well

This stuff was good to test out a few prints on but it stinks up the whole room, I couldn’t stand it.

Ive used the translucent green, grey, and clear. The grey is by far my favorite, and Ive been able to get tolerances down to about 0.2-0.3 mm, which is way better than I expected for this printer and the cost of resin. Its not as good as ultra high end printers, but for the price, I havent seen better. With the green, I was able to print DnD minis with good detail. Ive used the grey for props and shop fixtures and hooks. They both retain great detail and are very strong. Im able to hang tools off 3-mm thick hooks without breaking. Ive used the clear for some parts, and it would be great for lenses or windows, but it does allow some UV light bleeding, so it doesnt work as well for complex geometry. Stick to simple parts for the clear, and use opaque resins like the grey for more detailed stuff. Ive been able to print with this resin indoors without significant odor. I keep the printer in a shop area, so its not in a confined space, but it hasnt needed a ton of ventilation. Instructions are a bit vague on exposure settings, so youll want to do some research online and experiment with each new resin color before going right into making a big part. Look up some guides on how to calculate cure rates, calculate exposure times based on layer thickness (I usually do 0.050 mm for big parts, 0.025 mm for mini figures), and how to check your edge bleed with go-nogo gauges. For the cost, good detail, and low odor, I highly recommend.

This product is extremely forgiving. Dialing in the settings is very easy. Be careful not to clean your prints too long in alcohol or brittleness will be an issue. Also, be careful not to over cure your print. Anything more than 4 mins will create a brittle print

This is my first 3d printer. I was thinking long and hard before pulling the trigger. Having done extensive research, it came down to this printer and another resin printer. After getting the print bed level per enclosed instructions I was ready to go. Mine came with no resin which might have been my fault as there are two different packages. I contacted Anycubic and before long they set me up with a bottle of resin and a replacement FEP film. In the meantime, Id ordered another bottle of resin, I couldnt wait to get printing. The next day, after some tinkering and adjusting the print settings, I had a successful print on my hands. The print quality is amazing!!! I couldnt believe such a compact printer could produce such stellar results. The level of detail this printer is capable of producing is next to none. Over the last few years Ive been building scale models for a living and a tool like this will help me tremendously, especially in the scratch building department. A few tips that will ascertain successful prints: 1) Make sure the room youre printing in is nice and warm (~80F), itll make the resin cure better and the print wont stick to the FEP instead of the print bed. 2) Extend your bottom layers cure times if your prints are lifting off the print bed 3) Ventilate the area. I set my printer inside a spray booth I built for my models and extract the fumes out of the shop which helps a ton. In conclusion, I am extremely pleased with the purchase and Anycubics customer service. Definitely glad I took the plunge and got this nifty little printer.

I purchased my first bottle and things printed good with the exception that I messed up my first couple of prints just learning how to orintate my supports. After I figured out how to do all that with the help of some YouTube videos I was off to the races printing nonstop with success on all my prints there after. I soon had to order a second bottle and well thats when the problems started. Failed misprint after misprint it is very discouraging and frustrating. I have releveled my build plate replaced my fep film and tuned it and still misprint after misprint. The resin isnt solidifying during the print cycle and is staying very gooie. Prints if I should call them that are only partly sticking to the base sagging and hanging into the resin vat. I have tried everything from releveling to replacing fep film and making sure its not to loose or tight. Ive tried increasing exposure times and everything else that is recommended for trouble shooting. This leads me to only think that this is a bad bottle of resin. I should mention that both bottles were grey resin and Ive noticed that the second bottle of resin is slightly different in color. I dont know if that has anything to do with anything just something I noticed. I have ordered a bottle of elegoo resin grey because Ive heard great things about this product. Hopefully things go well and confirm my theory of this bottle being defective. *Update I am updating my first review because I contacted anycubic directly on their website through their after purchase support team and let me tell you they responded very quick!! I explained to them everything that was going on and sent them pictures of what the prints looked like. I also just asked if there was a way I could get the bottle replaced. Not only were they easy to deal with but they gave me no problems and didnt even try to make excuses or beat around the bush. They sent me another bottle of resin and even asked if I had wanted to try another color. Not only did they send me another bottle of resin but they refunded my money back in full which was a surprise and very nice of them. I am very confident and comfortable buying their product knowing they take care of their customer base and care about the experiences we have. I would suggest to anyone that has had a problem with the resin to contact them on their website and they help in any way possible.
