ANYCUBIC 3D Printer Resin, 405nm SLA UV-Curing Resin with High Precision and Quick Curing & Excellent Fluidity for LCD 3D Printing (Grey, 1kg)

Always a great buy wouldnt use a different resin for my 3d printer.

I find this resin is excellent for miniature details. I also find it pretty durable and cleans nicely. I usually cut off the supports before curing since the contact points are still slightly rubbery and softer and it usually comes out with a cleaner surface. Using 8 second per layer and 60 seconds for the bottom layers seems to work perfectly on my Photon. I rarely have issues with failed prints and in all cases I messed up adding the supports where needed and once adjusted the pieces print great. Adhesion to build plate is no problem. I am also amazed at how small some of the details are that it can print provided it is supported. When cured it has a great surface for painting as well. The pictures above are of 1/72 scale Mandalorian , Razor Crest and Droideka printed on the Photon. You can see how fine the cables on the Droideka are.

I bought this to use in my Anycubic Photon, since I figured using their resin to dial in my settings was the smart bet. Take a tip from a newbie, you still need to fiddle with the settings to get things to come out right! Once I got my settings figured out, the prints from this resin come out super smooth (depending on settings), with great detail (Depending On Settings) and solid adhesion (DEPENDING ON...oh, you get it). The smell is definitely not as bad as a lot of YouTubers and hyperbolic websites would lead you to believe. The printer is in my wifes craft room, and has been in constant use since we got it, but she just cracked a window about an inch and was able to sew and etc. without much of an issue. We bought low-odor resin just to see how they compare, but based on my experience with this product, Im not too worried either way.

I would not buy this stuff at full price and would rather go for Elegoo any time of the day. Although this one performed much better than the Craftsman resin from anycubic, its still not the ideal resin for printing.

Ordered the 2kg twin pack and only received 1 (1kg), cant tell you how good it works since I have to return this and try to order again. Very annoyed!

this stuff is great if your looking to get started and want something inexpensive. The odor of this is low if you ask me personally but still take the precautions with mask and gloves needed when handling this. I have no issues with this and for as much as i print a bottle will last me for months. Note though that even this is resin. The cured material is brittle the thinner you try to print SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND!! But other then that i have no complaints with this

This review is for the standard grey color. I have been using this stuff ever since I got my 3d printer and after 10 or so bottles, Ill say that it works very well! Great consistency and the quality of the product is always the same, which is really important for when you are trying to dial in settings and getting used to a new printer. If you keep making it, Ill keep ordering!

So far this product has been great. Sometimes I have a hard time getting it to cure but that could just be me.

Im transitioning from a Formlabs 2 printer to an Anycubic Photon 4K, and Im impressed by the quality of the prints! I did not like to use the Formlabs opaque resins because they seemed to have a filler and I didnt feel they were as sharp as the clear, however the Anycubic seems to only have pigment and not an opaque filler and the black has now become my go-to resin
