Greater than one weekI’ve been going back and forth on Anycubic and Elegoo’s resins with my printers over the past two years, switching from one to the other when one seems to have a bad batch. Anycubic used to have a very nice finish but lately seems to have a light film over it. This mostly goes away after printing though the finished prints also don’t seem as nice a consistency and finish and my smaller supports failed. I purchased the grey two pack and this is is probably the worst I’ve seen it, no idea why it gets all broken up and filmy like this. Until Anycubic runs a better batch I’ll be using other brands.

> 3 daySo this is pretty much the only resin I have used at this point and Ive decided that I need to maybe try some others. That said this resin isnt bad but it has a strong smell. The resin itself seems to be pretty good though and does print pretty well as long as you make sure to store it properly.

> 3 dayAll printed on a AnyCubic Photon S at either .05 layer height (9sec/layer) or .03 layer height (8sec/layer). This black resin captures the highest detail of any resin I have tried so far, but it comes at the cost of being one of the most brittle Ive tried. I can print my 1in square diamond plates in perfect detail and capture the leather wrapping on the handle of the sea elfs whip, so I know the level of detail is phenomenal, but since I sell miniatures, I cannot stand having them break so easily. For these miniatures, a simple drop from desk height has yielded broken parts, which to me, is unexceptionable. My remedy for that is to mix in a flexible resin, which adds much needed durability to these miniatures (orcs). When I added the flexible resin, it made the models translucent, creating a smoky black appearance, which is pretty cool. Another positive side affect of this mixtures is that nearly all of the detail was retained. When Ive mixed the flexible resin into others brands, I usually end up losing quite a bit more detail that I would like, but this black resin really helped with retaining the high detail I like to see. A lot of people care about odor, and this one isnt the worst our there, but it isnt the best. I do have ventilation to my printer, so I dont get lingering smells anyways. If you dont care about brittleness and what super high detail prints, than this is the way to go. If you are not afraid to mix in flexible resins, then this also is the way to go.

Precautions:
- Storage method:
- Keep away from light seals at room temperature. (Sunshine contains a lot of UV light, will solidify photosensitive resin. After testing, the light is not affected as long as it is not UV light).
- It is recommended to save at 15 ℃ -35 ℃ ambient temperature, the lower the temperature, the higher the viscosity of the resin. Sealed storage, excessive dust or moisture can affect print quality. Sunshine contains a lot of UV light, will solidify photosensitive resin.
- Usage:
- Take a full shake before use in order to have a fully mix the functional components and fully mix the color paste in the resin. Otherwise, uneven coloring of the print may occur.
- Prohibit the use of resin in places where there is a lot of sunlight.
- Wear gloves before use to avoid direct contact with the skin and keep the room ventilated.
- Inadvertent contact, as soon as possible to use a lot of water rinse. If you feel unwell, seek timely medical attention.
- Printed models need to use high-concentration alcohol to clean about 30S (recommended concentration of 95% or more, the higher the better).
- Do not pour the resin in the resin vat into the unused resin, do not leave the resin in the resin vat for a long time without use to avoid resin pollution affect the printing effect(long time without the resin can be introduced into airtight containers or sealed with plastic wrap shading save).
