I have bought a ton of this resin! Mostly black but a lot of clear and white as well. At least 15 bottles of black as of right now. Im satisfied with how the resin performs. It seems to not be too brittle while still holding its shape. The one thing Im not satisfied with is that there is only 900ml in a bottle. I know the bottle says 1kg, but I think that most people just assume that equates to 1,000ml. Either way, they should advertise this so people can accurately calculate their print costs. The other problem was when I reached out to Anycubic to inquire how many ml were in a bottle, they never responded. So I had to buy my own measuring cup to find out myself. Now Lychee Slicer can accurately estimate my print costs, which have gone up about 10% from what I thought before.

I gave this resin a try as my butter fingers occasionally dropped items printed with normal grey resin, and, well breaks happen. Unfortunately, with this resin I found it very hard to get a good print at recommended settings. Supports would print, but pieces themselves wouldnt. Using Tableflip Foundrys Cones of Calibration, I managed to dial in the ideal exposure time to be ~30s. That is just simply ridiculous.

Resin worked for its needs, no issues seemed to pop up. Durable and easy to use.

I have tried for weeks to get this to print. Dozens of hours of test prints. I’ve tried many validation tests. Some print. Some won’t. But even when a matrix appears dialed in I’ve had zero successful prints. Eco resin I have dozens and dozens. This stuff just won’t print. I’ve tried every exposure from 1.5-4s. I’ve tried slowing down the lift speeds to a crawl. Even using heavy supports I get adhesion to the build plate but then just a blob in the vat. I’d be fine with the decreased resolution for the durability if it saved me time but at this rate I can print 10 dozen on eco while still trying to get this stuff to print. Skip it.

Anycubic resin has been super reliable for me and havent been too picky with print settings to get great results, which has been great. Im relatively new to resin 3D printing so having a source for reliable and affordable resin is great. The red looks very cool, especially right out of the printer, very happy with the performance and will be buying more in the future!

Im not sure what others are saying, but the bottle I recieved contained resin that is flexible and mostly holds its original shape when allowed to rebound. It goes without saying that the cured resin, especially around thin areas of a printed object, do not break or snap easily, if at all. If you OVER-cure this resin, like most resins, it DOES become brittle and may snap under continued stress. I have an Anycubic Photon M3 Plus, and my settings are roughly 15sec exposure time at 100% UV for bottom layers and 1.4sec for normal layers make sure your lift speed isnt excessively high, as supports are more flexible when cured appropriately. For bottom layers, my lift speed is around 0.8mm/sec so I can ensure proper adhesion and separation of the FEP from the build plate. As for it being Tough: The resin is tough in the sense that it doesnt easily break, and is able to handle physical impact forces by flexing. Overall, its a great resin, but it may be slightly overpriced for what it offers against other cheaper resins. If youre looking for a singular resin that needs to flex quite a bit (but not like rubber) at thinner areas, and be rather rigid around thicker structures (without breaking easily), then this isnt a bad place to start.

I mix this with standard resin to add durability, seems to work as most of my miniatures dont snap from a small drop on the concrete anymore.

Anicubic is one of the best printers on the market. This red resin is beautiful and easy to use. I highly recommend the Anycubic red resin
