Nice radio for the money

I have two of them first one rattled I open the case found a nut floating around put it back on the final that was off The second one it won’t let me program it through the radio I have to hook it up to the Internet to program it

Picked this up to play around with not really thinking it was going to be a good radio. Price, packaging and manufacture locations - yeah you know. This unit was replacing an older Galaxy 959 and in comparison as both are the same price range the 6666 blew away Galaxy. Very solid well built yet small radio unit. Set for 10m but can be menu flipped to 11m to use as a mobile. Good stable sideband and no frequency drift. Handled both stock mic and power mic with ease. It does seem the channel knob operation is a bit flimsy but thats really the sole problem I found. Ran both in my house straight and behind power and mobile with no power on a Wilson 5000. Dependable and good sound!

Works good just a little bit hard to learn how to use it and adjust all the settings at least for people who used the old raidos happy with it might buy a second one

This radio is being marketed to truckers per the text of the offer. Its being called 10m CB - the 10 meter band is a licensed band in the US. The use of this radio on that band without a current FCC Amateur Radio license is illegal. Lets stop taking advantage of people who dont know this. Lets stop encouraging disregard for the law. Hesenate?

Great radio, not a huge audio monster, but super clean crisp audio with nice echo and plenty of roger beep choices. The receiver is absolutely awesome and picks up even the lowest far away signals. Overall a great buy and awesome value for $260 to the door. My opinion a better value than the 955 or other comparable rigs.

NO stars at all for this one.........screen too small to see even with reading glasses on, I gave to friend for B-day present but he too cannot see the screen nor can he read (then memorize) the functions of the control knobs. TOTAL washout and waste of money..!!

Great radio, easy to use and can operate on CB band see YouTube mod.

Every time I keyed it up it would shut off turn it back on to the back it would cut off thats connected to a fully charged 12 volt battery to the back radio would shut off couldnt get it to program so Ill send it back for a refund not worth the money
