The small size is smaller than the maximum size for carry on,and the medium is too large. also, only the large suitcase expands, not the two smaller sizes.overall good suitcases just check before you buy, I wish i had .by the way the small one for kid perfect

The material of it is okay to last for couple trips without any issues. Each luggage has its own lock combination, 4 wheels with 360-degree rotation, easily extended handle for rolling it around. The lock is TSA approved one where they can open the luggage without damaging your luggage. The luggage itself could not be expanded as the size is set as it. The zipper is fine and I do not worry about it for entire trip. Inside the luggage, one of the sides has the zipped component where you can put stuff in it without worrying it falling off when opening the luggage. It also has 1 pocket for additional storage. The weight of luggage without stuff is pretty light.
