Aobelieve Flexible Mount for VAVA Baby Monitor and Hipp Baby Monitor

We ended up returning due to not being able to get it tight enough around anything to so it wouldnt move around

We are staying with family for a few months & have the baby Bjorn travel lite crib, but wanted to use our VAVA monitor since it’s more than just a few nights. I was shocked at how much the mesh on the crib reflected at night (first photo on monitor), I could barely see in. I immediately purchased this in hopes it’d stay on the side of the frame & it’s perfect. I’m so glad it works & delivered extremely fast. Glad I didn’t hesitate.

I bought so many different wall mounts for my camera but this one is by far my favorite! I should have saved all my efforts and bought this one first!

Have been using for a couple months with no issues. Allowed us to get a better position for the baby monitor.

It’s a great idea, but it is not very stable after adding the weight of the camera. The wrap around legs are too thick or too short, and you cannot tightly wind them around your crib. I would only use this for short time frames where I can pay attention. I take it all down overnight because of fear of it falling on my daughter.

UPDATE: 5/12/2021 - The listing is updated saying it is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH VAVA This baby monitor holder came with no instructions or manufacturer labeling at all. It came with two zip ties, a bendable arm (silicone wrapped around a flexible wire), and a base to attach to your baby monitor. Even though my baby monitor looks exactly like the one in the listings image, do not assume this holder will fit your baby monitors base. Ours fit pretty loosely. Once wrapped around the crib border, I did not feel it was tightly secured. It came with two zip ties but unsure what they were for (to secure the monitor to the base or to secure the bendable arm to the crib?). This type of holder can only be used when baby is very young and not able to stand up in their crib (see pic), so it makes better sense to figure out a longer-term solution for your baby monitor since you typically use your baby monitor well into the babys first year.

I was excited about this product sheet reading many positive reviews and wanting an alternative to wall mounting. The idea is great, flexible, attach it anywhere, Lots of flexibility in positioning. But in practice, its not great. It takes quite a bit of finagling to get the flexible arm positioned to stand upright from the weight of the camera. It just slips and falls over. Once you get it tightened in a way that counterbalances the camera, pray it stays. If it does, thats great. Then pray your camera stays attached to the mount that you so carefully positioned, or else you start all over again. My camera falls off the mount with the slightest touch. As long as you can get it positioned and guarantee no slight breeze, youre golden.

My husband and I really didnt want to mount our camera on the wall. I saw this mount and thought it would be perfect for what we wanted. I was a little hesitant since there werent any reviews but I am so happy with my purchase. This mount is long enough to be attached on the back of the crib but could also be attached to the small rail as well. It is very sturdy. We have had it for over a month and it hasnt budged. And best thing, we didnt have to drill any holes! I would definitely recommend this to go with the VAVA camera.

I was afraid this would bend over time but it has held up for over a month. So glad I found a way to mount the monitor without drilling into the wall!

A little short but flexible, this mount can save space. It would be better if it fits monitors of other brands.
