If you realise that this is only an infrared light source for the wiimote to orient itself to, then you wont be expecting it to connect the wiimote to the PC. You do that over Bluetooth. Once connected, the wiimote will work with this sensor and allow it to be used in retro-gaming, and other games.

Works as advertised with no problems, amazing value for the money.

The description is a lie the sensor bar doesnt work on PC. I tried the sensor bar on the Wii. The sensor bar did an okay performance for the Wii.

I got this to use with my Wiimote with the Dolphin emulator on my PC and it seems to work fine. Its hard to tell if any problems are caused by the emulator, the already imperfect Wiimote, or something else but it definitely works as a sensor bar and the cord is long enough to cover a lot of space.

All I had to do was plug it in and thats it! Couldnt be happier

I bought this because I built an emulation PC for my kids. This works just fine with official Nintendo WII remotes and the dolphin emulator software. The cord is really long so you have options when positioning it.

Really didnt expect much this exceeded expectations a bit but its exactly like the Wii sensor bar its a very good price and works great.

Does its job just like a real one but powered off of USB. Not quite as good quality as the oem (pretty close though) so if thats important to you get a real one and wire it up to usb. For the price and convenience I have no complaints!

I love this! With it being USB powered you can use it if your Wii is n a remote location away from your TV. For instance our Wii is in a media closet some distance away from our TV, massing using the original sensor bar impractical since the cable wouldnt reach to the Wii. With this USB powered one you can just plug it into a USB port on your TV and youre in business! This is also fantastic for use with a Wii emulator like Dolphin on the PC!
