i had the light charge on the deck rail and it wasnt even sunny out. it did take a charge and after you turn the switch on in the back it will start flashing. its a bright white light, but i doubt this will be enough to scare any intruders. and it certainly wont be enough to flash in the entire yard. i think id spend a bit more and get one that has an alarm while it flashes.

We use these on poles to stop the plows in Buffalo, NY from ripping up the grass on the road. Our neighborhood wound up purchasing them also.

Stopped working after 1 months

Wanted to use it as a pack rat deterrent just didnt fit the build. Light was bright and easy to use.

This little warning light will get their attention. Very reasonably priced. Especially like that is solar powered.

I wanted to install on a Flat surface…. Can’t do it, because the switch is on back. Light only works in the dark.

The LED extends the usable time. I put this on a nearby speed limit sign that otherwise was ignored, or just not seen. It was highly effective in creating increased awareness of and compliance with the speed limit signage.

No complaints they seem to work all night.
